Paul M | 1 comments Im trying to remember what book I read this in and need your help figuring it out. It was a book either about self-help or business. Read 2010-2015.

The only thing I remember is just the example below.

Something along the lines of a new CEO came in and realized too much time is spent on reports given to board. So she put a price tag (how much time/money spent to gather data) per each report element (graph, chart, table) and then gave this to the board and they started cutting out the ‘elements’ they didn’t value or didn’t need. She saved hundreds of hours across multiple units/divisions and thousands of dollars…

Do you remember what book this was in?

Here's the Google Books preview of Low-Hanging Fruit: 77 Eye-Opening Ways to Improve Productivity and Profits by Jeremy Eden - arratavy's suggestion:

https://books.google.com/books?id=4yX... X There are different cover images.

"Just imagine if everything your compnay did had a price tag. We mean, literally, a price tag, stamped on every section of every report telling you how much it cost to produce that section. Imagine a price tag on every reocrd of every transaction telling you how much that specific transaction cost to complete."
