Anna (svartlava) | 3 comments In translation of the book "The Imaginary Friend" Swedish publishers decided to split the book in two - part one and part two. These are now listed as editions of "The Imaginary Friend", even though none of them are complete versions of the book. Is this the preferred way to list books that are split to two editions in translation, or should they be listen in another way? To me it feels weird having them as editions of the whole book since that would be messier in my shelves. However it also feels weird having to list them as "another" book than the original "The Imaginary Friend". Hope this makes sense!

Sandra | 31511 comments They should not be combined unless there are other editions that were also split up.

French editions are often split in 2 or more volumes for some reason.

If you can link them, we can separate the 2 books.

Anna (svartlava) | 3 comments I can fix it myself, just was unsure about how it should be. You mean none of the parts should be listed as an edition of the complete book?

Sandra | 31511 comments Exactly, none of the parts should be combined with the complete book.
