It basically a series about these three orphans, whose parents died in a fire while they were out one day. They have no really close family, so they get shipped off to their... 2nd cousin twice removed? something of that sort. Now this guy, Count Olaf, knows that they have, in their name, a large sum of money, which he'll do anything to get. And then in each series, the kids go to live with a different person, at a different place, and Olaf keeps coming after them. It's better than it sounds.

The words unibrow and monobrow are now in the Oxford English Dictionary, and unibrow was added to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary in 2006. Medical dictionaries, such as Dorland's Medical Dictionary, now contain the word synophrys.
