Lance introduces his mother, who suffers from anxiety and agoraphobia, to Morgan and she responds exceptionally well. Why was her reaction so different than what Lance had normally seen in the past?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1810 comments Lance's mom is lonely. Her anxiety and agoraphobia has left her isolated, but I think she is slowly getting better and her acceptance of Morgan is a sign of this. I also think she realizes that her son is in love with her.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I think Jennifer realizes that her son wouldn't bring a woman around unless he cared about her. This excited her. She wants her son to be happy and sees Morgan as a person who would add to her life too.

I agree with both of you. Lance hasn’t brought anyone by to meet her, for whatever reason, and in that moment, she got that he not only cares about Morgan but is also comfortable enough in her mental healing to introduce that person to her.

It was a lovely moment.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3484 comments I agree with all of you. I loved when Lance is thinking is this my mother.

I believe that Morgan could put herself in his mother's shoes. She understands her grief. It doesn't take much to let it rule your life. For Morgan it is a "there but the grace of God moment."

message 6: by Charlene (new) - added it

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I really learned to like Lance more after I read our previous series. His anger and injury and so on made more sense when we met his mother.
