There should be a cookbook club crossover discussion between you and the Book Cougars!

Edited to say I just got to the part where you talk about an Instagram cookbook club already in existence. I run a book club at work and last year we read Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat by Samin Nosrat and all brought in different dishes from the cookbook. It was so fun!
