Trisha (trishadunbar) Weekend Reads

"Tackle every day like you’re leaving for a trip the next."

Hey there, I have made a pledge to read 12 self-development books over the next 90 days and take at least one key action point from each book that I read...

If you also like to read non-fiction and would like to join me for the The 90-Day Self-Development Challenge you will be most welcome. The other participants are really supportive and we would love to have some more people join us ❤

Trisha (trishadunbar) The Most Powerful Woman in the Room Is You: Command an Audience and Sell Your Way to Success

Key Takeaway: I have read a lot of self-development books this year and this book covers a lot of similar themes, however something I will be applying is the 'Strike Method' in order to grab the attention of the audience when I am public speaking.

Asa Rodriguez (asarodriguez) Why do people divorce?? Why do people fight?? Why do people seek politics, religion, and other fanaticism?? The answer is 'Major lack of understanding.' Without understanding people fall into anger, envy, fear, intimidation, shyness, and all sorts of anxious behavior which destroy their lives and the lives of others. Understanding is the purpose of this life.

Great understanding brings happiness, it brings a never-ending joy which keeps you content and smiling at yourself. Problems disappear when your mind expands in understanding. So, seek to expand your mind by reading, by exploring your thoughts and feelings, by being flexible and detached from your own struggles.

Self-development.
