Part 1 chapter 13 - (view spoiler)[ This is so hauntingly sad! Poor Addie never being remembered after someone leaves a room, it's heartbreaking!
I'm loving both aspects of the story so far - seeing how she goes about her daily life in New York, and seeing how the curse first started in France. That must have been the hardest having noone in her village know her. (hide spoiler)]

Somehow this book completely flew under my radar. Reading the premise... I feel like I've already read another book with the same/similar idea, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. This is going to bug me. Can you guys think of other books with the "Wait, you recognize me?" trope? Or perhaps even, "You can see me?"

I'm highly, highly, tempted by the premise, but was so disappointed by a Darker Shade of Magic - can anyone who has read more of her work tell me if I should expect the same?

I loved Vicious and Vengeful! And I really enjoyed This Savage Song. I listened to the audiobook for ADSOM and I don't remember it at all so need to reread and see if I like that one!

I know how annoying it is when you recognise a premise and can't place it!!

People seem to instantly fawn over him or want him, so that must be his curse I guess. It sounds great but very unfulfilling I'd imagine! Or maybe it turns sour quickly after too.
He seems relieved Addie isn't looking at him the way other people do! Eeeek this is so exciting! (hide spoiler)]

This just adds to the importance that Henry can of course!!
His little freak out in the cinema, what was that about? Not enough time. Maybe he has a fixed time to give up his soul... I hope they can somehow tell each other their real stories. It's so lovely that he can even know her name! (hide spoiler)]
