Hi! I'm Katie and a lifelong HP and book fanatic. I've been a member of Goodreads for a while (this is my second account) and cannot believe I've never found this group before. I've obviously read all the books and watched the films (apart from the Cursed Child which I don't generally consider canon but recently I've decided I might give it a go at some point). I'm currently also addicted to the Hogwarts Mystery mobile game. In general I consider myself a Slytherin (which I play as on the mobile game), but the Pottermore quiz has also sorted me into Ravenclaw a couple of times, which I don't mind as its my second favourite house. My favourite house quiz however is the one on Buzzfeed which gives you a percentage compatibility for each house, in that I got Slytherin, followed heavily by Ravenclaw and a slight compatibility with Gryffindor, which I think is quite accurate as I can be quite reckless sometimes.Apart from Harry Potter I love to read in general, and other book series I love are the Hunger Games, Sarah J. Mass' ACOTAR series, the Witcher (read the first 3 books and loved the Netflix series) and the Girl of Fire and Thorns. My favourite book that isn't part of a series however is The Song of Achilles, which broke my heart in the most achingly beautiful way possible.
I love science as well as reading and recently finished my A levels in Biology, Chemistry and English literature, hoping to study medicine this autumn and am currently on a gap year.
Hi! I'm Kennedy and I think I'm a Hufflepuff (I've gotten every house roughly the same amount of times and gotten 25% per house on the percentage quizzes)... I've read HP 4 times and have cosplayed as Ron more times than I can count. JKR's a clown, but I like this series :)

if you don't celebrate Halloween the what do you celebrate and can you tell me about that
I am TOTALLY dressing up Imma go as a Slytherin (like what else would I be *someone in the background" a Hufflepuff Gryffindor or Ravenclaw)
My friend is visiting and we are going trick or treating (I don't care if we are "too old")
we are also carving pumpkins today we were going to do it like 5 days ago but the farm closed down so we couldn't get them until yesterday night

and about the whole Covid-19 thing the neighborhood has agreed to leave warped candy bags on the door steps
Oh that's nice...we don't celebrate Halloween much in India. We do celebrate it in Delhi but since there are too many Covid cases there, we don't do trick or treating

We really don't do much for Halloween...I wish we did. But India is known for its cultures and traditions so we have many fun(and deadly)traditions. Like Dusshera where we make a ten headed figure and set on fire with a flaming arrow. Then there is Diwali on 14 Nov. known as the festival of light. We make different patterns and art with coloured sand and the whole family sings a prayer together and we go around the house setting candles.

Yep, you spelled it correctly:) and I would love it if you would come to India. There is also a festival Holi, when you can openly drench people(even your elders) in water, hit them with water balloons, and colour them with coloured powder...the whole neighborhood used to come together and play pranks, drench people with hoses but because of Covid we can't do anything:(
