This one is truly perverse. Makes me wonder about the OP: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Karen I don't know what to say.

Really. What kind of mind comes up with that?

But, then, I've long held a theory (formulated through relationships, and, in retrospect, from familial interactions), that accusers oft accuse others of what they, themselves, are guilty of, as a diversionary tactic.

Will IV (drquadrilateral) Haha clearly a joke. Pretty sure I made a comment in there somewhere.

I thought so at first, Will . . . but . . . I don't know . . . got a different vibe from the OP.

E.D. Lynnellen (EDLynnellen) | 118 comments The OP may very well be projecting.

Thing 1 and 2 are another fucking matter, however. :}

Oh yes- I was called the selfish one, when in fact my mother was the selfish one, I was the scapegoat. I'm lucky she changed, she's a different person now.

message 10: by Will (new)

Will IV (drquadrilateral) I thought it was just to rule people up. I mean no one mentally stable actually thinks that.

That's very familiar, Karen . . . minus the changing.

That is sad Renee.

message 13: by Michael (new)

Michael Sussman | 23 comments I left this comment:

Does anyone else think that the Very Hungry Caterpillar might be bulimic?

Yes, and it is not appropriate for children. It shows that a bulimic caterpillar can still become a butterfly without appropriate psychotherapy.

Michael Sussman | 23 comments Hahaha--absurd!

Hmmm . . . not sure if he was bulimic or had a binge eating disorder . . . :D

message 17: by Will (new)

Will IV (drquadrilateral) Rule... rile... close enough

E.D. Lynnellen (EDLynnellen) | 118 comments I argued one night, long ago, that Michael Jackson was trying to physically transform himself into Thing 1.

Admittedly,...., there was a question of sobriety.

Michael Sussman | 23 comments I thought he was shooting for Diana Ross, but now that you mention it...

I'd figure he was going for Thing 1 and Thing 2 . . . for a real homo-erotic experience.

message 21: by Karen (new)

Karen Diana Ross! Yes- I remember MJ when he was adorable, we were the same age when kids and I had such a crush on him.
