1966 ~ A Cigarette and a Dish

Muse A always has a cigarette between their teeth and a bad attitude. Muse B has asthma, can't stand the thought of smoke, but keeps a dish on their windowsill full of old cigarettes and ashes. Muse A wears all the wrong clothes, says all the wrong things, and scares all the wrong people. All in all, Muse A is someone to avoid. Muse B is perfection on a pedestal without a hair out of place and has the admiration of everyone around them. Muse A and Muse B are polar opposites, and yet they are hopelessly in love. But Muse B's parents won't have it because to them, Muse A is a deviant that can't be fixed and is better off in a psych ward than around their beloved child. What will keep their relationship together? What could possibly keep them apart?

Medieval ~ Fodder for Fools

Muse A is an assassin hired by the King of Thorus to kidnap the crowned Prince/Princess of their rival kingdom Drakoon. Muse A expected this to be a rather difficult mission, but found kidnapping Muse B, the crowned Prince/Princess, one of the easiest things they had ever done. Of course a mission that easy has a catch. Muse B is an eccentric idiot to put it nicely and Muse A finds themself pulling out hair trying to get Muse B back to Thorus and complete the mission. Of course, before Muse A knows it, they are head over heels for Muse B. Will Muse A turn over Muse B to the King of Thorus and collect the ransom? Or will Muse A become an enemy of both kingdoms and profess their love to Muse B?

(The kingdom names are really stupid so you can change them if you would like)

Mechanical Heartbeat

After an irreparable malfunction to Muse A's personality settings, their owner tosses them out on the street and leaves the poor thing out on the curb like trash. As a hyper realistic robot, Muse A is considered a thing rather than a person and has to scuttle around alleys and back streets to avoid authorities that would dismantle them for spare parts and protect themself from the elements. For the most part Muse A is more successful at the former than the latter. After two months of living on the street, Muse A can barely walk and is in desperate need of repair, but Muse A is a robot, and object to be owned rather than treated as an equal. In any case, a robot has to do what a robot has to do, so Muse A breaks into a lower end Mechanical shop in order to find parts to repair itself. A mechanical shop where Muse B just so happens to be staying late in order to finish a few mechanical repairs the shop had fallen behind on. As a mechanic, Muse B is fascinated by Muse A and their extremely expensive mechanical parts, so how will the mechanic deal with Muse A, a high end robot that can feel human emotions and has a heaping pile of trust issues?

Enter Muse C, a self made billionaire who threw out one of their expensive robots because it had a malfunction. Come to find out, Muse A had valuable data stored on it's hard drive concerning Muse C's not so legal business interactions. Muse C will now do anything to destroy that robot and keep their illegal affairs under wraps. While Muse A is hiding under the wing of Muse B, a rather poor mechanic, there is nothing to protect Muse A from the expansive wallet of Muse C, except maybe there is. Muse D is the owner of the mechanic shop where Muse B works. Muse D is eccentric, lazy, and all around a terrible boss, but Muse D has a past kept secret from everyone they know. Perhaps Muse D has a wallet just a deep as Muse C's and is willing to use it in order to protect their friends.

(Possibility of removing Muse D, or perhaps making a MuseCxMuseD)

Whispering Willow

The trees know what you have done. Those are the words that plague Muse A's every conscious moment. Muse A is a scientist who is credited with most of the world's future tech advancement and inadvertently responsible for the destruction of the Earth's atmosphere. Everyone must wear oxygen masks because the trees no longer produce the fresh air that humanity once relied on. A biological impossibility that is accepted throughout society, but many scientists are baffled by this, because trees aren't sentient enough to know how to stop producing oxygen. Muse A knows better.

Muse B is a cop that had to put up with technological advances that mean detective work is no longer required and the ranting of Muse A, a crazy scientist who is stupidly rich and is often arrested for indecent and violent behavior while "warning" everyone about the trees. Whatever that means.

When the world sets it's sight on the few remaining forests for wood production, the trees begin to move, to whisper, to kill. They want revenge for the wrongdoings, and they plan to start with the person who started it all, Muse A. Because Muse A is in a holding cell under the watch of Muse B, the two are thrown together on an adventure to restore the balance between mankind and the forest.

Satellite Heart

In a society that condemns disabilities and disfigurements, your average human strives to appear perfect, and appear perfect they do. Meet Muse A, a cyborg living on the streets with visible imperfections. Muse A never had a chance because they had 37% of their body replaced with robotics in order to save their life. Now it's the very thing that causes their misfortune. Enter Muse B, a sickly person with not long left to live and a heart so kind it could turn sewage to liquid gold. Muse B takes pity on Muse A and decides to give them a second chance despite their imperfections.

Plagued by Precipitation

Muse A has walked the Earth for many years, blending into society as a vagabond of sorts. Ignored and unseen. Little do the people that Muse A walks among know that Muse A controls the weather. Wherever they step since the beginning of the human race, Muse A brought rain wherever they stepped. Muse A did not know if they were a God or Deity of sorts, also did not care. Muse A merely chose to observe as an unnoticed individual as they wove rain of all types into every part of society. That is until the day Muse A was observed.

Muse B grew up extremely sickly in a city that seemed to always rain. In fact, the last time the city had seen sunlight was when Muse B was merely six years old. Muse B spends most of their sickly life in a hospital bed watching the rain patter against the ninth story window of their hospital room. They have spent so much time in the hospital that it seems Muse B's family has forgotten about them, only visiting to pay hospital bills and celebrate special occasions. Almost every day Muse B is visited by a mysterious person with a clear umbrella who comes and goes without anyone but Muse B noticing. It doesn't take long for Muse A and Muse B to form a close bond as the only important people in each other's lives.

Into the Garden

Muse A lives a rather typical life in a slightly small suburban town only a twenty minute's drive away from the city. One day, on a spur of the moment decision, Muse A walks a different way home than usual. Muse A grew up in that suburban town so imagine their surprise when they found themself lost in a part of town they had never seen. It was much more rural than Muse A thought a place so close to the city could be. Many things caught the eye of Muse A, in particular was a small cottage with a garden surrounded by an eight foot wrought iron fence. Looking through the bars and flower bushes, Muse A caught a glimpse of Muse B, the most beautiful person they had ever seen. Curiosity got the best of them and Muse A found themself scaling the fence and entering the garden.

Surprise, Muse B's mother is a witch. Muse B grew up without friends of any sorts and suffered all kinds of magic based abuse from their mother. When Muse B spots Muse A sneaking into the garden, Muse B can't help but be excited for a new friendship. Muse A and Muse B have exceedingly different ideals, often resulting in fights between the two, but Muse A always returns the next day. One thing always remains the same, Muse B must never leave the garden.

Color Me In Love

In a world where people see in black and white until the moment they lock eyes with their soul mate, Muse A is alone. Muse A's friends are beginning to see color every day that goes by and yet Muse A, no matter how desperately they try, cannot see the color they desperately crave. Living in the Pacific North West, Muse A goes for a walk in the woods every time they need to relax and calm down. That's when the unthinkable happens, wolves. Muse A is terrified for their life as they are pressed against a tree, desperate to become invisible. And then, blue eyes. Muse A had locked eyes with a wolf and suddenly the world was bright with color. But it wasn't a regular wolf.

(Change the eye color if needed! It just can't be grey or black!)

Sweet Dreams

Muse A can pull things out of their dreams. It's about as simple and as complicated as it seems, the only problem is that Muse A has constant nightmares and barely any control over their power. So far Muse A had been lucky and only pulled out small things like daggers and the occasional raven. Of course Muse A's luck couldn't last forever. After the worst dream Muse A had in years, they wake up beside Muse B in the dorm room of Muse A's boarding school, except nothing is the same. Muse A didn't pull out only Muse B, but the entire nightmare. Now Muse A and Muse B have to find a way to reverse the process and put things back into dreams in order to save everyone from being sucked into the nightmare.

Death by Drowning

For longer than they can remember, Muse A was plagued with nightmares of drowning in a black lake. After seventeen years of these nightmares, Muse A's family moves across the country to a lovely Victorian house on the outskirts of a small town. Muse A decides at this point in their life, they have never had it worse. The nightmares only grow more terrifying, leaving Muse A waking up in cold sweats and with screams stuck in their throat, school is a living hell with more bullies than there are students making fun of Muse A's hair, clothes, and city accent, and to make matters worse, the Victorian house is plagued with electrical issues making hot showers and finishing homework impossible. The only thing that Muse A doesn't find aggravating is the small pond on the property just out of sight of the house, in fact Muse A finds it soothing. Eerily so. If only they knew the body of Muse B lies at the bottom of the pond dreaming every day for seventeen years that they would be discovered and allowed to take revenge on their murderer. Muse A must solve the murder find Muse B's killer, who still lives happily in town, all while keeping their own head above the surface of the water, or suffer at the hands of a vengeful ghost destined to be intertwined in Muse A's life. That is what happens when one enters the land of the living at the exact same moments one enters the land of the dead.

Ghoulish and Grave

Ghouls are absolutely terrifying creatures that inhabit places of raw, negative energy, this energy is often caused by horrible deeds and suffering. As a result of excess negative energy, ghouls will appear in the form of what humans call malevolent poltergeists and have no problem killing people in order to fuel their need for suffering of others. Muse A and Muse B are teenage sweethearts with pride like no other. When they are dared by their friends to spend the night in the town's local asylum, they reluctantly agree in order to protect their pride. Little do they know that the old building is rampant with ghouls. Things immediately go wrong and Muse A and Muse B are locked inside by the ghouls until their friends come back for them in the morning. Will they survive the night?

The Art of Opposites

Muse A grew up in a prestigious fine arts academy owned by their parents and in doing so the live and breath the arts that surround them. Dancing, theatre, music, painting, and sculpting are the passions that fill every inch of their soul and the halls of the academy that their parents poured blood sweat and tears into, so much so that Muse A becomes a teacher at the school. On the other hand, Muse B believes in the much less finer points of the classical arts Muse A worships and yet Muse B still ends up in Muse A's class on a full ride scholarship to the prestigious academy. How will Muse A handle a student with raw and unfiltered beliefs in art rather than the poise and delicacy they grew up with?

2 AM and Through the Window

Muse A is drunk as per usual for a Friday night and is now stumbling around and looking for their house. They find it finally in the dead of night. The front door is locked, the back door is locked, but the second story bedroom window is wide open. Luckily for Muse A they can still climb when they're piss drunk.

Muse B is well into a late night marathon on Netflix to start off their weekend of being a hopeless introvert. And then Muse A, a well known party animal and exact opposite of Muse B, climbs through the window and lands in Muse B's lap absolutely plastered. Now Muse B, who has no idea where Muse A lives, has to put up with the drunk asshole until their sober enough to remember their address.

Asleep at Closing

Muse A works at the library on campus on the weekends and with finals just around the corner they are used to seeing burnt out college students desperately trying to learn an entire semester in about a week. It's the same thing every night, Muse A announces that it is closing time and everyone reluctantly shuffles out of the library so Muse A can lock up. It's the same every night except tonight when they find one of the cutest library patrons asleep on their book in a quiet corner of the library. Muse A doesn't know if they should wake them up or not.

Muse B lives and breathes coffee this time of year as they try to desperately do well on finals in order to save their grades for the semester. They shouldn't have been surprised when they fell asleep studying in the library one day, but what did surprise them was being woken up by the cute librarian they had been eyeing all semester.
