I got the Hunger Games books recommended to me by a friend quite a while ago, but never actually got to reading them. It would be nice to finally get into it!
Who else will be joining this read?

I’m quite excited to read this one again, it IS great.

The only problem I have with this book/series is that it completely destroyed me. I was a teen and I devoured it (it devoured me?) so I'm not sure if I can go through it again. I loved it by the way if that wasn't clear in the mixed messages I'm giving.

Alright y’all, I just downloaded this to my kindle. Have we thought about pace yet? I’m ready to read!

Awesome! It has 27 chapters, and those are broken into 3 parts. It's nice to use chapters as pace indicators/ stopping points since we'll have different page numbers.

I tend to be a fast reader, so I'm pretty open on our pace. Did you have an idea Chloe? Quinty?

Did you decide if you're joining us Betsy?

If we're going to set up a reading schedule together I would suggest maybe starting with 2 or 3 chapters a day. We could also read it at our own pace and use spoiler tags in our discussion here. I'm happy with either option!
I'm finishing my midterm exams on Friday, so I'll be ready to start at any time after that!
