Jessica Elizabeth | 95 comments Just reported book #3. I have never read this many books in such a short time. It's been super fun. Thank you team aHarmony! :-)

message 403: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Team topplers are tons of fun :)

It's a mark of how much fun I had with this toppler that I'd certainly try... :)

Exactly!

I know we're winding down but we still have a full day and half left, I'm definitely going for another book (maybe two). Is anyone else still reading?
(But no, I'm not contemplating filling the categories again)

message 406: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie No more reading for me :) no more time on my end :)

message 407: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie As in I have too much to do the next few days :)

message 408: by Lanelle (new)

Lanelle | 4064 comments I'm still reading. I have one book to finish, and I'll probably read another short one after that.

message 409: by Travis (new)

Travis (travistousant) | 6011 comments I'll go until time runs out. Preferably finisging my final book in time

message 410: by Annette (new)

Annette Olsen | 205 comments Just started book 6.... with any luck I might be able to sneak another one in before the time is up!

message 411: by Cherie (new)

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments I am still reading my book, Lynn, but I started an audio book. I like to have one on my iPod to listen to in short times at work or driving or if I wake up and cannot sleep. I can set the timer and let it lull me back to dreamland. It is surprising how much I really hear. The book is called Homicide Trinity. It is #36 in the Nero Wolf series by Rex Stout. I guess it would apply as a series book or maybe for the hobby/craft thing. Nero Wolf's hobby is growing orchids. I am sure I can complete it in time and I am willing to stay up Friday night to listen until it is over. I am 40% done. I started it on Tuesday. It is 7 hrs long.

message 412: by Camilla (new)

Camilla | 2118 comments Yes, still reading, there is enough time I think for me to finish one more.

message 413: by Cherie (new)

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments I just checked the book rules. I got the hobby thing wrong. I see that it is supposed to be some kind of craft for the hobby. So, either a series book or a murder mystery. A woman was murdered right in Nero Wolf's office. She was strangled with his own neck tie that he had left on his desk after lunch. Boy, was he upset when Archie called him after he discovered her!

message 414: by Lynn (new)

message 422: by Lynn (new)

Lynn | 2987 comments Nice try Travis, not to worry though as you've contributed so much :)

message 423: by Annette (new)

Annette Olsen | 205 comments I finished my last book last night. I don't have time to finish another one but I don't know what to do with myself without a book in my hand this morning. I guess it's kinda a Toppler hangover?

message 424: by jaxnsmom (new)

jaxnsmom | 8341 comments Toppler hangovers are very common. Some of us can't read a book for a few days. I go into tv/dvd mode for a day or two. And there are all the things on the How to Win a Toppler list that now need to get done :)

message 425: by Lanelle (new)

Lanelle | 4064 comments My toppler hangover will be missing all the chatting from my teammates.

message 430: by Cherie (new)

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments Good morning team. I didn't make it through the last audio book. I gave up around 4:30am and dragged myself to bed. Just woke up to report in.

Thank you, Lynn for keeping track of all the books.

Wow! You are amazing readers!

I am happy that I finished one more than I thought I would. They were all good reads for me and two counted for my series challenge.

Stephanie So shall we try for the muster date bonus points? I'm on the app so I can't link the thread :(

message 434: by Lanelle (new)

Lanelle | 4064 comments Is someone brave enough to put together our team's mystery date?

I looked through the books I read, and my geek book has just a head. Cinderella Geek by K. Sean Jennkrist

message 437: by Lynn (new)

message 438: by Lanelle (last edited Feb 14, 2015 03:59PM) (new)

Lanelle | 4064 comments I wanted to try one of the book spine poems using the books I read. With a little help from my team members, I think it turned out pretty good.

Cinderella Geek
Moonlight Wish
The Giver
Glimmer of Hope
Love By Accident
Cobweb Bride

message 439: by Lynn (last edited Feb 15, 2015 06:38AM) (new)

Lynn | 2987 comments Hey Lanelle, your entry needs to go in the Mystery Date Bonus thread https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Teams can enter as many times as possible, so post it in there and just put you're from aHarmony.

Is anyone else going to have a go?
To help you out, I'll list the possible covers you can use.

Head:
The Emperor's Soul by Brandon Sanderson Carrie by Stephen King Cinderella Geek by K. Sean Jennkrist The DUFF Designated Ugly Fat Friend by Kody Keplinger The Giver (The Giver, #1) by Lois Lowry With or Without Him by Barbara Elsborg The Seance by John Harwood

Eyes:
The Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick Rot and Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry The Demons Fib by Keisha Keenleyside The Look of Love by Sarah Jio The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #2) by Rick Riordan That's an eye right??

Torso:
Hell Cop by Astrid Amara Safe in His Arms by Renae Kaye The Extra Large Medium by Helen Slavin A Proud Taste for Scarlet and Miniver by E.L. Konigsburg Everything Forbidden (Albright Sisters, #1) by Jess Michaels

Legs:
Boomerang (Boomerang, #1) by Noelle August
A Dirty Job (Grim Reaper, #1) by Christopher Moore Mile High (Up in the Air, #2) by R.K. Lilley I think we could get away with using these two?

Feet:
Bubba and the 12 Deadly Days of Christmas (Bubba Snoddy, #2) by C.L. Bevill
Well that's annoying that we only have one for shoes!
Maybe we should do our entries upside down, starting with shoes?

Stephanie - It might be an idea to message a few of the group. A lot may think the toppler is over, it might be an idea to point out we have another task?

message 440: by Travis (new)

Travis (travistousant) | 6011 comments I just hsvent been on a computer. Pics are a bit small on my phone

message 441: by Roz (new)

Roz | 4561 comments We can always add A Shot in the Bark (Dog Park Mystery, #1) by C.A. Newsome for a head shot (just for fun). No one said it had to be human.

message 442: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Sorry all not sure when I'm going to get back here..we have possible frozen pipes in our apartment so waiting for emergency Maintenence to arrive :( so if someone wants to take over the messaging that would be great! Sorry, I just don't know when I will get back on here today is all.

message 443: by Lanelle (last edited Feb 15, 2015 07:26AM) (new)

Lanelle | 4064 comments I think each team can enter only three mystery date composites.

I nearly put that one in but actually the rules for the head category was for a human head.

Lynn | 2987 comments Lanelle wrote: "I think each team can enter only three mystery date composites."

Ah ok, I missed that bit

message 447: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Barstad (maidenoflight) I put my entry in.

message 448: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Turns out the cold water pipe is frozen to the washing machine and possibly the dishwasher. We are supposed to get anywhere from 3-10 inches of snow here staring late this afternoon into tomorrow at some time:( I will believe the snow when it happens..they are always predicting lots of snow and then we don't get it but it is remaining to be quite cold..the complex Maintenence has put a heater near the wall where the pipes are to see if they will thaw..I'm not holding my breath..good thing we are planning on moving to a better build apartment complex in late April..I dropped off the hold check today :)

message 449: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie The mystery date entities are awesome by the way! Way to go team!!

message 450: by Lanelle (new)

Lanelle | 4064 comments I've lived in the southwest part of the United States almost my whole life, so I really can't imagine what you're going through, but it sounds miserable.

Good luck getting those repairs done quickly.
