Sean participates in the case from the sidelines. How well did he handle himself with Noah after witnessing Lucy’s treatment? Was it out of respect for her, maturing in managing his self control or a combination of both/something else?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2991 comments He is learning that Lucy has great instincts and needs to handle situations on her own. He can't always intervene for her, but he can support her. He's definitely maturing in how he relates to Lucy and her FBI career.

Robin (robinmy) | 2478 comments I agree, Anita. Lucy has to handle this herself.

I thought Sean handled himself extremely well. Lucy’s a professional and he needs to let her fight her own battles. When he felt challenged, Sean did the right thing and walked away.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments Sean is getting better at controlling himself when it comes to Lucy and her job. He is slowing understanding that she needs to do this on her own. I think that he will always have the urge to interfere and protect her though.

I agree, Melissa.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I agree with all of you. He's doing a good job of backing off when it's about Lucy's job and how she is handling it.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I agree with everyone. I become a bigger fan of Sean with each book. He worries about Lucy but wants her to succeed. I like how he handled the situation.
