THis a an excerpt from my book. It is a fiction.
'God is Great'

‘Madhav, there are many things happening within us and
around us, which we are not aware of. All these may influence
the way we think, the way we interact and our relation with
others and ultimately with the Universe.’
Here was a lady, the lady I love, a medico, trying to convince
me, a scientist, through scientific terms, that it may be possible
to read minds, though subconsciously and guess what, she
partly succeeded in it, at least in laying a seed of suspicion in
my mind.
‘Come here,’ she took my hand and pulled me to the centre
of the terrace.
‘Just stand here.’ She said. I stood and watched her, as she
gently walked ahead, raised her head and started looking into
the depths of the sky, breathing slowly, with a smile on her
face. It made my heart skip a beat or two. She then opened up
her arms, as if to embrace the Universe, looking at the
countless celestial structures in the sky and admiring them. It
appeared as if she was trying to navigate across the depths of
the Universe, standing on top of the roof of a small structure on
our planet Earth. I could see the glow on her face, as a wave of
cool breeze touched her cheeks. She closed her eyes and
stood in silence. I felt as though some unknown form of energy
and power was emanating from that stance. She gradually
opened her eyes, turned towards me and said,
‘I love standing like this with open arms towards the sky. I
feel as if I am a child of the Universe and this Universe belongs
to me. I feel as if Universe is embracing me with open arms. I
feel as if the Cosmos is talking to me. I feel as if I am talking to
my God.’
