ABANDONED. YA/Children's book (series) about a bunch of kids with powers who go to a boarding school. The main character can turn into a fox, eagle and beaver. His friend Daniel is telekinetic. Daniel's sister Catherine absorbs other people's powers.

+One other kid has a connection to spirits and another can create illusions. The kids are called COLA's by the school, with the most prominent staff member being called Owen. There may also have even something about a locker room fire from another student and there was something to do with kids being murdered based on the four elements I believe.
