Monkey Puzzle is a book about a young monkey unable to find his mum. The young monkey is not having too much fun in the jungle all alone, but with the help of a kind butterfly the monkey eventually finds his dad, however the dad knows exactly where the mum is… waiting for a cuddle from her baby monkey.

This book is delightful story with amazing illustrations that show the pretrial off emotions well from the characters, this would be good to use in classrooms from EYFS to KS1. Many activities can be created with this book including PSHE activities, where the students can talk about their personal experiences where they might have felt sad or worried leaving their mum, when at school for example. Understanding the world or geography could also be used when reading this book, talking about the different animals or using sensory boxes with different features of the jungle.
