The mods will pick 2 winners for each round. More details here - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

So, do I choose the next book to match this round's theme AND the adjective, dainty?

I hope so. That’s tagged in the book I want to read as well.

The book you read for round 2 has to match this week’s theme. You also pick up to 5 new nouns (nothing will be carried over from the previous round). A different adjective will be announced on Wednesday, and you’d have to pick the best fitting noun by Friday. This will repeat every round.

There would be two winners every round (three if there’s a tie), first place gets 10 points and second place gets 5. The mods will pick a winner by Sunday for each round.

Hope that answers your question :)

Yes, thank you. Looking at the winner of the first round also helped :-)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Ugh, I completely missed check in last week. My fault. Can I still play even if I missed the final first check in?

message 64: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 1213 comments Yes you can :)

Thank you! It was a bad week last week and apparently, I somehow turned off notifications for these threads as well. I appreciate it!

Plethora (bookworm_r) | 2239 comments Is "strong heroine" tag sufficient? Or does it need kickass?

NM... I went back and looked at the prompt. In my mind I had that it needed kickass or badass....but it just says "strong-female lead".

Nope, no restrictions on genre :) As long as it's not a graphic novel, it'll qualify.

Midu Hadi | 2744 comments Would Children of Blood and Bone work for round 3? Children being plural

message 70: by Aiswrya (new)

Aiswrya | 1213 comments Yeah! Anything in the plural works

message 72: by Julianne (new)

Julianne Anderson (julesanderson) | 15 comments I have a question on if this book will work or not for this week. I am halfway through Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark.

The Cover emphasizes Kingdom Keepers:

Disney After Dark (Kingdom Keepers, #1) by Ridley Pearson

But the Goodreads page only has the title Disney After Dark.

Does this book still qualifies? If not, I need to know so I can find a different book.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, this won’t qualify. Kingdom keepers is the series name (as highlighted in the GR page for the book), and the plural word has to be in the title. Sorry :(

Alysa H. | 3840 comments Re: "Round 4 Theme - Read a book with two P's in the title"

Can there be MORE than two P's in the title? Or does it have to be exactly two?

message 76: by Aiswrya (last edited Nov 20, 2020 01:12PM) (new)

Aiswrya | 1213 comments At least two. Good point though. I’ll rephrase the task

Thanks for asking the question :)

EDIT: Done!
