ABANDONED. Elementary/ Middle Grade Book about a group of kids in a cookie cutter perfect town

I read this book when I was in elementary school and I can not remember it!! I had to have read it back in 2015-2017! I remember that there was a group of kids that wanted to escape Their town for some reason?? I think there was a government aspect to it or maybe even a sci fi element to it all. Maybe they were hacking something? I’m not sure!
