Yes! Someone help me cope with the withdrawal. I'm finally up to date with the show (ohmyGod that last episode!!!) and I've read the first two books :)
The books are awesome! I've read them all, but I need to reread. George RR Martin's stories are so fantastic, I speed read because I can't wait to find out what is going to happen next. I'm sure I missed a lot of foreshadowing and clues to what is yet to come. I was devastated when he said The Winds of Winter was no longer being released in 2015. Ugh, he needs to write faster!I love the show, as well! HBO has done a great job of staying true to the books. We all know that book to tv/movie adaptations can go horribly wrong. (;
Yeah, I was surprised how close they were when I read the books! You can't really blame him for taking so long, those books are massive, and so detailed :P
Very true! I love reading chats where they interpret certain excerpts in his book. It amazes me because I never catch any of it. Haha! (:
