But enough of that. For your old book pick (which is now on my own to-read list), I went with
, and for your new book pick I chose
. For the bonus pick, I saw that you wanted to but hadn't yet read
, and the decision was basically made for me. ^_^Enjoy!

Happy Reading :)"
Thanks for the great picks. I've been really into thrillers and cozy mysteries lately, so both of those should work nicely. And I think I've had Painted Faces on my Kindle app for at least seven or eight years, so now it might finally be read. ^_^

Thank you, I read Hunter (3 stars), which I found to be a standard dystopian fantasy with nothing really to distinguish it and some easily researchable mistakes in places. I did really enjoy Boyfriend Material (4 stars), as it was silly and cute and what I needed that week. Have you read The Affair of the Mysterious Letter? It is my favorite by Alexis Hall (not a romance just FYI).
I only managed one of my picks this month. I finished
. Beryl Markham really was a wonderful writer, great turns of phrase, nice sense of humor. I could not get into
at all for some reason. It's the type of book that I should love, but I just couldn't make myself read it. I'm leaving it on my TBR and will try again another time.I don't think my bonus book will arrive in time - I had to order it through interlibrary loan, and they are experiencing a lot of delays. Hopefully, I'll have better luck in Novebmer.

"All books read and enjoyed them all a lot! Thanks for picking them :)
I finished one of the books picked for me, and it was (as expected) another great book in a fun series. Thanks, Debbie!Wrong Question, Right Answer by Elle Casey - 10/28/20 ♥♥♥♥
Connie, I started reading Water but I had to stop due to needing to return it, but I plan to get it again for Nov so I can finish it. So far the stores are great.

I'm so glad I stuck with the second book that Debbie chose for me, even after month end, because it turned out to be one of my favorite reads lately. Thanks so much for the great picks! Debbie picked for me:
Wrong Question, Right Answer by Elle Casey - 10/28/20 ♥♥♥♥
Win Me Over by Nicole Michaels - 11/11/20 ♥♥♥♥

From your list:
For a bonus, these are both books of short stories that I've recently read and enjoyed, one is kind of creepy and the other more of a fantasy:
Hope you enjoy!
