I've written a 50K horror novel and I'm interested in beta-swapping story.
A brief synopsis:
Henry Mozart, a normal, fourteen year old kid from Brooklyn without a care in the world, gets his perfect life turned upside down when two airplanes crashed into the Twin Towers, killing his father. Going to Afghanistan after graduating from high school to seek justice for his father’s death, and to protect America from terrorists, he finds himself in a battle where he gets his leg blown off by a terrorist’s grenade. Coming home disillusioned about his ability to make a difference in this world, he begins to drink heavily at a local bar, trying to forget ever going to war. But ironically, he gets bitten by an ancient vampire and gets dragged into another war where he battles against a secret cabal of Nazi vampires, and supervillains like Creepy Clown, Puzzle Master and Webcam Killer. The story is a reimagining of a Batman story, and if you interested in beta-reading my book, send me a reply at asmadeus10@yahoo.com. Thank you.
Hi Courtney,I'd be interested in a swap if you're interested feel free to message. Below is my blurb.
As a girl from the Elkridge Apartments Jordan Johnson had modest goals, enough money for food, a non-leaking roof over her head, and a chance to leave. She worked very hard over the past few years to achieve just that, a normal, stable life. Unfortunately for her it is all at risk of unraveling when an amateur podcaster weasels his way into her life convinced he is onto some great untold story involving one of Chicago’s most powerful families. Now in an attempt to quell the story and preserve the already cracking facade of normalcy she is plunged back into her old life, reconnecting with old friends who now hate each other, and facing realities of her past she isn’t too proud of.

I am fairly new to this process but have been an avid reader my entire life. I have a master's degree and have been writing for some time, but this will be my first novel.
I prefer to read thriller, mystery, and historical fiction and am not typically interested in fantasy, horror, or romance however, feel free to pass on a quick description anyways if you would like me to take a look!
Here is a quick blurb on my novel:
Johnathan Penny did not kill his sister, but he likes that everyone thinks he did. John is an unemployed twenty-five-year-old with an undiagnosed personality disorder who gets pegged for the murder of his sister, Kelly, whom he despised. While John is in the hot seat, the real killer roams free, doing everything they can to make sure they don’t get caught. As John wraps his head around his sister’s death and the complexity of sibling relationships as a whole, he must also try to piece together who really killed Kelly. However, as new information begins to arise, and more bodies are found, it becomes clear things are more complicated than they initially appeared. As John’s perception of his world begins to crumble, he realizes he has lost control, and the consequences are a matter of life and death.
If this sounds of interest to you I would love to connect, feel free to post here or DM me!
