When you pass away your consciousness is uploaded into a computer network called San Junipero. In this network, to save memory, you are only allocated to play 5 video games. Which five do you choose?

One quick question: how can you show panic without being melodramatic? And purely in narration (no dialogue). My character attacked someone in a dream, and now he woke up realizing that his dream might really have happen in real life. how can I show this surge of anxiety and panic in him without sounding melodramatic?
Bodily functions! Tingling skin, sweating, buzzing sound in the ears, cold in the spine, feeling too hot?

Also body language. You can look up "body language that shows ____ " on google and it will pull up articles on the subject.
Arlu woke from his nightmare kicking and screaming, fighting the air, attacking it violently. His chest heaved as he gasped for breath, slowly realizing he had been dreaming. He looked around his room, familiarizing himself with his whereabouts. He swallowed dryly, his forehead beaded with a cold sweat. He rubbed his shaking hand, speaking to it.
"It was only a dream." He sighed in relief. "Just a dream."
Arlu woke up on the floor. His back ached from the hard wood. As he stood up he looked around his room in awe.His bed was tussled. No, not tussled, ruined. The sheets were lying on the opposite side of the room. The mattress was frayed as though a cat had been using it as his personal scratching post.
Something lingered in the back of his mind, something that didn't quite feel right. He breathed in through his nose, attempting to calm his nerves. What had he been dreaming about? Whatever it was it caused him to create this mess and that filled him with worry.
Thanks guys. It's a big help! Really gave me an idea. And I'm nearly done with that scene! Just a few more edits. YeY!
