Brenna chuckles "slow down hails. you'll do more harm then good if you eat too quickly" Brenna says gently
"we've all been hoping that you would come back safely" she says as she sits cross legged in her chair
"yeah. you're back. and if I had to my way that guy would be strung by his toenails. just wait until I get a hold of him tomorrow." she says "let's get you a shower" Brenna says
"haylee!" Brenna half yells as she gets out of her chair to help haylee up
"Mom! can you come help me!" Brenna half shouts
"don't we still have my old one? The only things wrong with it is the foot thing is broken. and its nothing a little duct tape couldn't fix" she says as she gets back in her own wheelchair "sit on my lap haylee and I'll give you a ride to the couch. then I'll give you the crash course on wheelchairs" Bren says, trying to make light of it
Brenna smiles and helps haylee to the couch
"as far as I'm concerned you're not going to go back to school for a few days." she says "the chair is just until you get your strength up" Brenna promises as she crawls onto the couch with Haylee
bren tolls right along followed by dusty
She holds Haylee close "now what did you want to say?"
"it's James. we found out before he took you" Bren says reassuringly. "when I get to school that guy is going to wish he were dead" she says as she holds haylee close "are you sure you don't want to go to the police? he can go to jail"
She hugs haylee close "alright. If you say so. But no promises I won't have words with him." she says
"sh...I'm simply going to tell him that if he messes with you again I'm going to kick the absolute crap out of him" Brenna says as she hold haylee close
"ok...I'll stay here tomorrow. want to watch an episode of switched at birth or something? " she asks
bren holds her and dusty cuddles into the heap
((sure))bren is still awake. that's the thing about a TBI. she would either pass out as soon as she sat down in a comfortable spot, or she would lie awake for hours
She doesn't move, knowing she needs her rest
Dusty starts barking at the yelling"Haylee! wake up!" Brenna says and she shakes Haylee gently
"haylee!!" Brenna yells and shakes Haylee harder
Brenna holds her closeKatrina comes in "everything OK in here?" she asks
Brenna wakes her away with her hand as she holds haylee tight
"it's OK babe. I'm right here" she says softly
"I tried. I'm having a bad sleep night. I can go in the living room if you want?" she asks, knowing she probably wouldn't be able to sleep
"ok." Bren says softly and she holds her close
bren holds her tightly and protectively until the sun starts to rise
Bren is starting to feel groggy but she decided to get up when she hears her mom get up
Brenna stays in the bed with her but she turns on the TV which emits a soft glow in the dark room
Bren gives a half smile and she moves haylee's hand away gently and she changes the channel to something else
bren just takes haylee's hand and holds it
"because you're asleep hails" Bren says softly and teasingly
Bren kissed Haylee's forehead gently "yes and so are you but you're asleep."
Bren sighs, half tempted to wake her up but after the past three days, haylee deserved it
Bren sighs and decides to wake her up "alright come on hails. time to wake up" Bren says as she gently moves haylee off of her
"are you awake?" Bren asks as she gently nudged Haylee awake
"you were sleeping. and you were all over me. It was...weird. I was going to let you dream but then you got on top of me" Bren says as she sirs all the way up
"I would love to if my body didn't give out when it's had enough...which isn't very much" she says with a sigh
"if you want to try...you sure you want to after everything that happened with James?" she asks softly
"that's what got you through?" she asks softly as she holds haylee close
"yeah. I can't wait to meet him or her. Our baby" Bren says with a smile as she lays a hand on Haylee's stomach
bren smiles softly "alright. but if I tell you to stop...stop. I don't know how well my brain will handle it" she says
Brenna lays on the bed holding haylee, a faint smile playing at her lips "it's a sad fact that we need to get up" she says with a groan as she sits up.
"hey....that my boob you poked" she says teasingly. she goes to put on some PJ pants to find her legs are stiff and sore "really legs? you're going to be dicks to me today?" she says sarcastically as she puts on pants and a sweat shirt "you know my mom will probably want to take you to see the doctor"
"haylee you know for the baby to be well and good you need to keep yourself in order too. If you won't see one for yourself do it for me...or for the baby. just to make sure there's nothing more than a few bruises" she says as she sees a particularly bad bruise on hay lee's arm
Brenna smiles and goes to her wheel chair "any requests for breakfast?"
"Netflixing and cuddling in bed all day? yeah I could do that." Bren says with a smile
