Jeanne | 4 comments For the following two books (links below), under "Get a Copy" the Amazon button, as well as a couple others, is not going to the books. My publisher's person with "librarian" status had her house wiped out in the Iowa windstorm, and so is not available to fix this in the near future. Ergo, I need some assistance. Ironically, the Walmart link is still working, but several of the others aren't. Particularly Amazon is a problem.

ebook editions and Kindle editions are completely different.

the Kindle editions with ASIN of your books correctly go to Amazon. Those with ISBN/ebook designation will not go to Amazon, but to a platform that uses those numbers for identification.

Jeanne | 4 comments All right, but I'm getting notices from people who visit the pages that, when they try the link to Amazon to get a copy, it just dumps them onto Amazon generally. I'm not at all an expert on the publishing details, but nor are people visiting the Goodreads' book pages. They just can't get to the book and wonder why not. (And then complain to me.)

So I'm hoping this can be fixed so people can find (and buy) the book without jumping through a lot of hoops that can't be explained easily. :-(

You can point them to the Kindle edition page to purchase a Kindle edition. They are different formats. A reader who wants a Kindle edition can reach Amazon from the Kindle edition page.

You can set the default edition to be the Kindle editions if you are concerned about your readers finding it.

Jeanne | 4 comments Okay, thanks. I'll try to set that version as the default!
