14 years ago, Owl Manor trembled with echoes of madness, mysterious deaths and marauding owls.
In 1870, Abigail fled the horror of Owl Manor with her fiancé, Peter. But she carried with her the terrible notion that she is unworthy of love, instilled by her reluctant mother. If her own mother could not love her, how would anyone else?
She trusts no one and keeps herself buried in a crypt of churning emotions, away from the world. Deep inside, her soul screams at the thought of dying alone and unloved.
Now she is back. Abandoned at the altar, and with nowhere to go, she returns to Owl Manor. Thus begin the nightmares of violent rage and destruction, ghostly images.
What really happened 14 years ago?
Enter Victor, the complete opposite of Peter, yet frighteningly familiar at times.
And the owls circle the sky once again.
Inspired by authors such as Edgar Allan Poe (The Raven), Daphne du Maurier (Jamaica Inn), Carlos Ruiz Zafon (Shadow of the Wind), Owl Manor - Abigail is the second in the Owl Manor trilogy of Gothic suspense novels, and follows Owl Manor - the Dawning.

I have a psychological thriller for you to review if you are interested.
A self-obsessed Japanese icon appears to have a perfect life. Fame, fortune, and a celebrity marriage… but all is not as it seems.
For fans of slow building, character driven, intense and compelling psychological thrillers. The reader is purposefully placed in the head of a heroine with strong personality flaws that do have severe outcomes for those who allow her into their lives. This is an important aspect of the story.

I have an ePub available for you. Please message me if interested.

Hi Gerard, thanks for your message. I've just sent you a direct message. ~Jay

I'm looking for a review of my latest book Two if by Dark Reverie - Part II. It is part of an ongoing supernatural fantasy series I am writing. Since it isn't the first entry, I can also include a summary of the road so far. Please shoot me a dm or contact byronfortin@gmail.com if interested, thanks!

Eight years have passed since the mad wizard, Kraydon, attacked Sineria. Hayden, now a young adult living in a castle near two of his best friends, soon finds out things aren't easy for even the best of Sinerians. When an insane warlord threatens to wipe Sineria and all other kingdoms off the map with her infamous and feared army, Sineria finds only one way to protect themselves: war. However, a fight for a kingdom isn't easy, especially when a mysterious, endangered, titanic dragon rampaging throughout eastern Europe threatens the existence of all living things, adding to the worries. Hayden, struggling internally to mature and become a young adult while dealing with a powerful army and their dragon, finds himself in a world he never could imagine. His only options: listen to the king like a mature adult and hide out until the war is over, or unleash his inner warrior from eight years ago to attempt to take down the immense threats. One option will determine the fate of Sineria and all other kingdoms.
If you'd like to read this, I can email it to you, but I do pdfs, as it seems my laptop can't download and load epub files. Thank you for this opportunity and have a great day.

Fantastic Journey - The Soul of Speculative Fiction and Fantasy Adventure is about:
If we do not dream, if we do not imagine, we begin to die.
A smart, concise, thoughtful look at how imaginative fiction and the vast sea of fantasy impacts us as readers on three levels:
•The spiritual arena
•The wide world of ideas
•And the sphere we breathe in
But the secret lies further within. Meaning is the soul of every adventure, its central reality. The reality of every book impacts us on every level.
If a book’s dark soul is a false gem brought up from the sea of fantasy we see shades of human evil and shudder, tossing that book back into the waves it came from. If our jewel of fiction glitters unrealistically bright – without a care – we shrug and say, “meh,” and the fate of that soul, pages fluttering in the wind, is to lie forgotten.
But if that soul draws light to battle darkness, if its story mirrors our lives and calls us to the adventure of truth, the joys of mystery, and the beauties of brave action - then we have won a precious jewel drawn from the sea.
But the ocean of fantasy is not without its dangers.
Wherever there is wealth, there is risk.
Here is what one reader says:
Reader, are you a fantasy fan? Perhaps if you say no, you haven't sampled the uplifting fantasy that author Azalea Dabill describes, analyzes, and lists in this book. After all, there is plenty of fantasy writing out there that leaves a bad feeling in the pit of the stomach.
Learning to tell the difference between fantasy that uplifts and fantasy that does the opposite is the purpose of this book, which it executes in lyrical fashion--with excerpts from 70, count them 70 authors, including specific recommendations for even more than that. This book is clearly a labor of love. -- Phyllis Wheeler, author of The Long Shadow, to be published in 2021
I have only a couple of reviews, and 10 is the magic number. Please share your honest thoughts about this free book and the riches of fantasy fiction!
Find that which is the wealth of souls.
(Has a Christian thread throughout)
Thank you!
Azalea Dabill

“Did I say something wrong?” she whispered to Dylan, falling back to be able to walk next to the wolf instead.
“You are doing great, darling,” he replied with a grin. “Beautifully, if embarrassment is what you are aiming towards, I mean. It would be quite amusing, if I wasn’t afraid for our lives.”

I see that your preferred genres are mystery and fantasy. If you're open to sweet and steamy (recommended for 18+ readers) romantic comedies, I have one with some twists and missed connections that might interest someone who likes mystery. =)
The first, which I referenced above, is a full-length novel; I also have a novella in the same series, though they can be read as standalones. Links to the descriptions are below. I am getting ready to release YA Victorian-era historical fantasy-mystery called Mindcracker. I'm not sure if that is quite your genre but am putting the description below. At this point I only have ebooks available (sorry about that, I know many prefer hard copy) https://storyoriginapp.com/reviewcopi...
At sixteen, Molly is already the best bloody thought-snatcher in Victorian London, picking people’s minds and selling their secrets. When her growing talent captures the attention of a brutal criminal, Molly flees. Her escape is unexpectedly aided by a mysterious figure who promises to protect Molly—if she will break into the only unbreakable mind in London: Sir Edward Carlton, lockbox for Her Majesty’s Government.
Desperate to escape, Molly agrees, gaining entry to Sir Edward’s house, mind, and haunting memories. Sneaking into his thoughts each night is easy—at first. But before long, Molly suspects she’s being manipulated and finds herself trapped in a tangled web, unable to tell friends from enemies who blackmail, kidnap, and murder with ease.
Soon, Molly must choose between her life and the lives of those she loves—or use her wits and growing psychic powers to change the rules of a game she barely understands.

I don't know if you're still looking to review books, but if you are I have a fantasy manuscript you might enjoy reading called Temple of Ice.
Synopsis: Meet Tama, an adept winter mage of Khione, a beautiful, dangerous land. Bloodthirsty monsters roam the frozen wilderness, and the unforgiving elements are a constant. Tama and her friends—Kachina and Masou—are on the cusp of completing their education at the temple where they have trained for the past four years. They need only to do one more thing: earn the Goddess Tira’s final anointing. But to do that, they must fight through hordes of corrupted creatures and endure the perplexing obstacles within Mount Orodani.
The road before them is long and bloody, and Tira’s evil sister, Malsumi, won’t stop sending her minions until she is strong enough to break free of her prison. Tama fights valiantly to defend herself and her people from these twisted monsters. But she will soon discover the real threat is much closer than she initially thought…
Trigger Warning: Violence is prevalent throughout the story and there is a scene of intimacy between two consenting adults. There is also a scene where the villain murders two children in cold blood and a moment of near-matricide. Light profanity is sprinkled into the manuscript.
The release date is early-mid May. If you are interested, please email me at depanocura@gmail.com with the subject line: 'Book Review.' I can provide you with an ARC in epub format. Thank you for taking the time to read my message, and I look forward to your response.

I am looking for reviews for my book Beelzebub The Gift of Gluttony Its the second book in the Sinful Seven Novels and just released this month. The book is already released, however I still have some ARC's available on Booksprout. The book is also currently listed on Amazon KU.
Even though it is book two (Asmodeus The Gift of Lust being the first) you do not have to read them in order. each has their own story completed in each book.
However if you do choose to read them in order you may catch up on some Easter eggs hidden within.
The sinful seven novels are Paranormal Romance that may contain some dark themes.

It was released less than a month ago and it's in need of reviews.

It's a PNR with a new take on gothic. Character driven thriller that touches mental health, humanity & digs deep into each characters' pain. Three romance arcs, including a w/w-main sapphic relationship. It's a hate to lovers arc, slow burn, Takes off on chapter 35/and doesn't slow down.
Two quotes from the book & an excerpt from the w/w main relationship:
AMBER: ...Pain like this should never be appeased.
If touching her is a sin, I’ll kneel on rock salt every single day and scratch the wounds until they bleed, just to spend eternity soaring against her skin.
NATALIE: Caterpillars don’t have a single bone in their bodies, but I guess a new species evolved in me, capable of crawling fast and up against the deepest walls in my body. Squeezing their muscles inside me every single time her lips get in touch with my skin.
Excerpt:
AMBER: With a lack of direction, I step out of the bathroom and, with hunger, press her against the wall. There’s a strong smell of lavender in the air, which never soothes me when I’m with her.
“Don’t let go,” I tell her, not wanting her legs to part my waist. She looks at me, but I’m too intoxicated by the way she smells to be able to read what’s written in her eyes. I kiss her hard on the lips. She kisses me back, tightening her grip on me. It’s all the direction I need. I press my body against hers. My hands are on her waist, keeping her in place. She closes her eyes.
I nibble her chin and kiss the length of her neck. She tastes like vanilla, so I savor the sweetness of it. As I kiss my way down, I discover the freshness she brings to something so familiar to me but entirely new for her. I let my palate indulge with her rawness since I’m the first to kiss her like this. She wears her emotions raw over her skin, like open wounds, since hate and pain are all she knows.

I'm a fairly fast reader and enjoy most genres, however my favourite genres are mystery (especially cosy mystery) and fantasy. If you have a book you would like to have reviewed then please feel free to contact me.
