I really liked this one. The heroine was spunky and had a spine, the hero was great. Their meeting was fantastically funny. But the reason I couldn't give it *5 STARS* was the ending. The play was just a bit over the top for me and I was more eye rolling than enjoying.
But up until that point, the author had me 100% The audio on this was really good too.

I really like this light and charming paranormal series, but this was unfortunately not one of my favorites. I was enjoying the developing relationship between Nick and Willa and wanted to see where the escalating issue with her stalker would go, when I felt like halfway through the book the plot completely jumped the shark. All of a sudden we have a kidnapping, a royalty crowning plot, and evil siblings. Just so jarring and out of left field, I felt disconnected for the second half of the book and didn’t enjoy it, which is unfortunate. This series has been a pleasant surprise to me however, so I feel like this is just a bit of a misstep.

Review: I loved this book! From the start with the blind date mistaken identity I was pulled in to the story. It had humour, fun and good plot lines. Elena was funny, self assured and didn’t settle for less than she felt she deserved. Jack was a big star with insecurities that he let influence his life and hold him back. It was great to see how the 2 of them gelled and got their HEA. I also loved the side characters. One negative would be that I wanted Preston to get a public comeuppance as I didn’t like him from the beginning.

I was supposed to take my time and read it so I wasn't twiddling my thumbs waiting until we were eligible for our next task, but I couldn't help but devour it. :)

It’s good so far!

I just read the first book in the series again and it's made me nostalgic for some Cohen Cage (not even the hero but that little boy stole the show for me!)

Review: I loved this book from the beginning. A couple of lines had me laughing out loud. Kate smith is an author of kinky, smutty romance who had lost her writing mojo until she took her car for a service at the tire depot. Her words started flowing there so she returned every day but was scared she would get caught abusing the complimentary coffees! She meets a mechanic as they become friends. Both of them have issues from previous relationships so it’s not a smooth path but some book research makes it a little more interesting for them getting a HEA.

Where to start
Tis used to be my fave go to... i forgot why i stopped this series in my 20's now i remember....
EVA
She is just a psycho bitch.... the first half of the book sees her getting over her rock star ex who only really ever used her as a booty call, now wants to use part of their sex tape in his new video....
Luckily she has Gideon who flys out to tackle the situation protecting her while still giving her, her independence.
Now with the whole job scenario.... that really pissed me off... firstly girl you are married now not dating anymore why would you want to work against your husband.....
second yes he was a bit underhanded but the punishment she dealt him was childish and heartless..... leave her and go back to Corrine is all i can say!

I switched books as early on I didn’t like the other, so I’m reading To Hate Adam Connor and I’m really enjoying it.

This was a great reread but, I'm going to have give up the ghost when it comes to the audio. The female narrator is fine but the male narrator's voice just grates on my nerves so I had to skip his chapters.
It was funny because I looked back at my previous review and my thoughts about Melissa were exactly the same. The whole punch first ask questions later seemed really dangerous especially with the way she lost her sister.
Cohen was awesome! Such a great little man. Loved him. He really steals the show for me in this book. Especially with all of his weiner talk! LOL
And what can you say about a tatted up, pierced alpha male who would do anything for those he cares about? Be still my heart! Greg was so yummy, I could have read him dirty talking (not listened because I said I didn't like the male narrator's voice) all day. *sigh*
Anyway, all three of them deserved the best HEA ever and I loved that they got it. I can't wait to read more in this series again!

This was a cute read - the setup of how Lucy and Adam met was absolutely cringeworthy, as she was basically photo stalking him next door and talking photos of him half-naked by the pool and with his son. I found that an interesting set up though, and very believable for how these two couldn’t stand each other at first, which sometimes in other “enemies-to-lovers” romances seems so forced. Their hatred was so believable however, that I was a bit jarred when I felt Adam was suddenly into her and had developed deep feelings for Lucy - I just hadn’t quite seen the path to get there and as such didn’t quite feel the connection between the two as much as I felt as I should, with all the emotion those two were displaying. Still, I enjoyed the book and thought the ending was sweet.

Review: I’m really enjoying this series. I haven’t read many shifter type books but this series is definitely capturing my attention. This is book 3 in the series and continues with the developing relationship between the Talon and Redwood packs and their plans now that they have been outed to the human world. In addition the arrival of an injured witch Leah has led to tensions with the witch community as they have been outed to humans as result of them hunting her and her twin. The witches also wanted Leah and her brother dead which increases the tension as Ryder the heir of the Talon pack has identified her as his mate.
