I don't know if it is policy & I don't do it myself, but I have found it very helpful at times. Please don't remove.

I find it very useful. Names that have more than a dozen authors in particular make it useful.


I've seen it like that as well.

This is also where I would expect to see it. Not in the description where it would make no sense to non-librarians.

I agree, so should I move that message when I come across it?

Additionally, as all users can add books to the database and will not necessarily know to add a book directly from the author profile or work, the information about the number of spaces may be useful to clue them in to the Goodreads method of disambiguation.

As far as I know, this shouldn't be done, so I'm asking if I should delete this message when I come across it, if I should add it myself or what's the standard procedure in this cases?
