Lauren Oertel | 1390 comments Congrats Susan! Could you update your "want to read" shelf on Goodreads soon and share your mailing address (however you're comfortable doing that)? Looking forward to sending you a new book!

Ellen H | 986 comments Congratulations, Susan! Where do we send your books?

Susan | 69 comments This is unbelievable folks! I’m typically a quiet lurker who reads all things TOB but doesn’t say much. Every year I have this inner battle of whether to play the bracket competition. I don’t want to win but I really want to play... Anyhow, I’m not much of a book collector besides my Charco Press subscription. I would love for Jason to be the beneficiary but he keeps saying no. Instead, I would appreciate everyone donating a book to their local library, school or community resource center. Report back here and let us know what you decide to do!!

Susan | 69 comments Like others, I’m shocked that Normal People made it this far. It can’t possibly win the tournament!

message 56: by Ellen (new)

Ellen H | 986 comments It will be a while -- no one around me is accepting book donations right now. But I will do so. Maybe I will donate copies of Cloud Atlas and Station Eleven, which was my dream final 2. *sob*

oh Susan that's so great! thanks :) are you just not a physical collector of books? (cause I could shoot you an e-book while still donating to a local place) or are you one of those who prefer the library always and keeps tidy in home and digital devices!? (If the latter, I'm in awe)

message 58: by Jason (new)

Jason Perdue | 688 comments Congrats, Susan. Picking A Mercy as far you did deserves the win.

message 59: by Jayme (new)

Jayme Congrats, Susan!! I like Amy's idea of sending you an e-book, if you are into it and donating to my library - since they currently aren't taking book donations, I will make a monetary donation. Congrats again.

Aaron Marsh | 49 comments Congrats Susan! What a wild ride.

I like the donating idea as well. I have these free library birdhouse-types all around my neighborhood, so I'll be dropping off a copy of A Mercy (fittingly) and The Body Artist by Don DeLillo (one of those all-time favorites I buy anytime I see a second hand copy precisely so I can give it away).

Congratulations Susan! (Clearly so much smarter than the rest of us.) I'm donating to my nearby Little Free Library, in your honor.

Bretnie | 717 comments Congrats Susan! I added my copy of "Such a Fun Age" to my neighborhood Little Free Library and it was gone the next day!

Lauren Oertel | 1390 comments I'm planning to donate Girl, Woman, Other (my fave ToB book) but I'm still figuring out where to send it...

I could put it in my neighborhood's little library, but that house strangely had Republican political signs out, so I've been boycotting it. ;)
