It's taking me back to my teen years and crushes on boys. It is a light fun read.

OMG! You are probably Lilly's long lost relative - and very lucky to still be alive and kicking too!! You are a nut!!

Autism is a spectrum and Aspergers fits up the highly functioning end. So Autism and Aspergers can effect people differently. I've worked with people who only grunted and squeaked to communicate and people you would notice were any different to yourself, until you spoke to them a week later and had the same conversation, because that is what they are obsessed about.

Oh geez - I didn't know about the cliff hanger.. The next one comes out spring sometimes right?

I'm at Ch. 8 and absolutely loving them. I love that Colton (view spoiler)
I had been hoping to read The Rosie Effect during buddy read period, but I'm still 57 in line at the library :( Might have to buy it.

Is The Rosie Effect about it too?

I really didn't even know anything about this book when I started it - I just came across it and saw all the great reviews.

Is The Rosie Effect about it too?"
Yes, Rosie Project is similar but it's about a man with aspergers (Don Tillman) and is told from his own POV. There's a lot of humor in it as he talks about blending with the people and some of the things he does that seem totally normal to him - but not necessarily to those around him at times.
So this book was kind of cool to get it from Lilly's perspective and what she does to help adapt to Colton and how his brain works.

I know! Communication! I wish they could talk about things better! (view spoiler)

Yes. I feel the same. I don't want to read what happens next, but I would like to see what else this author comes out with.

I would like to have seen the parents POV, especially Coltons parents. I can imagine that (view spoiler)
I loved the story and would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for all these little things.

And there goes one more book into my TBR! ;)

Make sure you read The Rosie Project before The Rosie Effect. I loved them both, but the first one more. I recently read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time which from the POV of a teenage boy with Aspergers.

I'm finished and [spoilers removed]"
