Catherine (royaltiescmb) | 133 comments I typically start like four books and then break off from that of which I prioritize. I see reading multiple books as say watching different series on TV. With that said there are times I have mixed up a book with another because of this but that. It was quite funny!

vicky (vickyr99) | 5 comments I think I could read up until 3 at a time maybe? But honestly I'm not very keen on reading more than one at a time, especially if they are of the same genre or if have similar themes. I do read published books and fanfiction works simultaneously almost all the time.

Felix | 4 comments Indeed 3-4 seems to be a sort of limit. I usually have 1 semi-simple to read before bed, 1 longer and more complex that I really need to focus on for reading, 1 small and very simply that fits in my jackets so I can bring it with. Then there might be one more sort of coffee table book or possibly some artsy or comedy thing that doesn't read like a "regular" book.
