It is always a good idea when starting a book to have your goals in mind, and with that verbalizing your intentions. So, to kick this month off here are some topics to discuss:

What are you hoping to get from this book?
What are you hoping to gain from this discussion?
Where are you on your journey to becoming a successful founder?

I'll start.

I love innovation and entrepreneurship. I have a bunch of ideas for businesses that, at least in my mind, would be a success. Yet I've never had the courage to act on one. I'm a bit of a perfectionists, and I'm always held back thinking that I should have everything figured out from the beginning.

From reading the back cover, I hope to gain some inspiration. The book promises to show how big companies did stupid mistakes as startups. I hope that's the inspiration I need to act on a business idea.

I would like to discuss how much do you need to have figured out and how much do you build along the way when launching a startup? Are there some things you need to have before anything else, and what things you don't need to worry about until later?

Kerri Wood | 2 comments I am intrigued by the idea of how so many people were able to start up their own businesses from an idea. I would like to gain insight on the entire process and the failures along the way. I think the book will offer a unique background into their individual journeys.

I hope the discussions will provide feedback and other perspectives that I am not able to see from my limited knowledge of the field.

Luis | 1 comments Hi! I'm new here. I just started with the book and I loved the first pages. I hope to find in the book some usefull cases that inspire me in my current startup.

I think that all startups have something form what we can learn. In my journey I have a lot of things that I need to learn. It's not enoght for me to have a product: I need to learn how to put my product in front of my users and I need to do a lot of things with very short resources (money). So I hope to find some ideas here!
