None, no language that I recall and no sexual content that I can recall either.

Nope. None of that. The House of Hades (Sequel to Percy Jackson) has 1 minor thing though.
No sexual or explicit language whatsoever just love
And what Kylee's talking about is just a bromance so no worries

There's no language, other than "oh my gods(notice the 's')". As for sexual content, this book has a few kisses. Also, you should know that this series revolves around demi-gods, which are kids who are half-human and half-god. They're made by a god having an affair with a mortal. There is of course no descriptions or anything like that, but it's just said that's how the demi-gods are born. I wouldn't worry about that.
I just looked at your profile, Gracie, so I could see what your tastes were and recommend you a few clean books, and I noticed your reading Ben Hur. That's awesome! I watched the movie (loved it!) and was gonna start reading the book soon :)

I just wanted to thank you for asking for content instead of saying, "Can a twelve year old read this?" or whatever. That bugs me. It's a personal decision. Kudos to you!
I am reading this at the moment (253 pages in) and the only hint of romance is the bickering you can expect between 12 year olds! Nothing to worry about at all.
It's clean, the whole series is, and the second series (with maybe a few sketchier parts). Riordan wanted them to be that way, and he did a good job of it.
Don't watch the movie though. The directors murdered the book trying to make it appeal to adults. The characters are 17, there is swearing, and they gamble, drink, and drive. Not a good combination. Also, in the movie, one of the characters is hitting on the other and another character is always with half-dressed women. The movie is nothing at all like the book. I repeat: do not watch it!
