I recently re-read it, so I checked on my kindle. Wade arrived in Columbus at 44% of the book, and left Columbus for Oregon at 83%.

He travels into a replica of Halliday's hometown Middletown, OH, in chapter 10 and part of 11. where he reenacts the movie War Games. In ch. 13+14, he has the meeting with Sorrento and Sorrento who is at the IOI headquarter in Columbus, OH. Not sure if that counts. He arrives in Columbus in ch. 16 and stays there until ch. 33. Would that add up to more than 50%.
Let me see if I can find exact page numbers.

Could be a close call: he is in Middletown, OH, from page 100-113 (27%-31% in the ebook). From page 134 to page 147 (35-39%) he has the conversation with Sorrento. From page 162-319 (43-83%) he is in Columbus before he travels to OR with Aech.

Sorry - I got it approved as not for kids but forgot to add the disclaimer. I'll repost with approval. It's getting so frustrating how GR lists their MPG's! Just because a book has a kid in it doesn't make it a children's book!!! (rant over)

The score readerboard is correct. I've updated the alpha readerboard to match. GR was balky and there must have been a paste error. Sorry.
