LOL yeah, 2020 sucks, for a multitude of reasons ☹️

* Read a book with an animal on cover.
'Animal' definition: any living animal other than a human being.
Birds and insects count. Must be a real animal, not mythical. A drawn bookcover that includes an animal will count, but not statues etc.
You must post the bookcover for qualification.
Option 2:
Key date - 1 April 2020
A book on your team mates 'read' list AND rated at least 3 stars and read on or after the key date.
Option 3:
Pass
This can only be used once each 5 weeks. Only one team mate can use this option each week

Tiny House, Big Love by Olivia Dade
Rating- 3*
Review- This one was just meh for me. I gave it three stars for the premise- filming a segment for a tiny house reality show. I've seen some of those and I've marveled at how a family could and would want to fit into one, lol. But there was no spark between Lucy and Seb. I just couldn't connect with Seb. Lucy was easier to get to know, and I appreciated her growth towards the end, and finding her voice again, but it wasn't enough to make me invested in their journey as a couple. Oh well. Not terrible, but not great either.

This book had two parts. The first part was about mace and Dez. The second part was about Ronnie and Shaw.
I really liked Mace & Dez. Ronnie & Shaw were kinda Meh. I can't wait for the next book because it's going to be about Mace's BFF, Smitty. I love that southern boy. And his sister, Sissy Mae, Oh. My. Lanta! She is a hoot & a Half so I can't wait to get to her book too.

Review: I enjoyed this story about Sammy, a dog who gets the "spark" and learns how to change into a man. Sammy is sweet, and I especially enjoyed seeing the world through his eyes when he was a dog. Things started getting a little wonky for me when he changed into a man and found his way to Mad Creek. Then the plot just started to be way too similar to previous books. I did like Rav, the human who opens a no-kill shelter in Mad Creek (and who had previously rescued Sammy when he was a dog). But I didn't really buy into his acceptance of the Mad Creek community and the relationship between him and Sammy. It was just too weird, that he had Sammy in his shelter when he was a dog, then falls in love with him as a man. Too much "ewww factor" for me. Anyway, this completes the series for me, even if Eli decides to write more books. I'm saying goodbye to Mad Creek after this one.

Review- This was a sweet story of Alexandra and Lucas, best friends who go in different directions after high school graduation. We meet up with them every Christmas for 10 years and see if/when/how they handle their romantic feelings for each other. I liked it but ultimately a little forgettable. I borrowed the ebook from the library so for free and because it was a holiday romance, I give it a thumbs up, lol.

Review: This story isn't one of my favorites in the series, but it's still a very good mystery. I liked the ins and outs of the investigative process Eve and her team go through, whittling the down the suspects until they finally box them in. And the scenes where she finally gets them all in interview and gets the confessions were fantastic. And of course, this is the book where Mavis has her baby Belle. There was nothing more hilarious than Eve and Roarke being Mavis' labor/birth coaches.

Selection pass"
Emeli i still haven't got a selection for week 6 from you, did you want pass for that week or this one. As if using for 7, then need a selected book as soon as possible for 6 as should be done before new task assigned which already been.
Also as Mama and AliciaJ haven't had a pass yet, be nice if could give one of them the chance for this week. Thank you 😊

Using pass"
So evidently
The Rule on the Pass Option
* Each team can only have ONE member using their pass each week.
* Each member can only use that pass once each 5 weeks.
* This means that one or two team members (dependent upon the size of your team) will miss using a pass in each 5 week block.
* No-one can use the pass option in the last week of the challenge.
* In the final week if Option 2 is used, members must select their book from another team. This will be advised in the week 11 announcement.
So I don't think Emeli can use the pass either week as she used it i week #4 [M152].
If that's the case, I would like to use it.

She can use it as similar to last round where you used pass in week 4 and week 10 i think.
You can use a pass in each of the 5 weeks so like 1 to 5 and 5 to 10 😊
You can claim pass for this week Mama though, as Emeli still hasn't selected any for week 6 her pass shall go to that week and she can select for this week so up to date.
Thank you xx

Review- This was so adorable! Nothing deep or angsty, just cute and fun. Noel and Theo have a mistaken identity meet-cute and sweet hijinks ensues. I don't want to give away any of this shorter story. I will just say that Noel goes after what she wants and I loved it. She also has a nice relationship with her sisters, who starred in the first two books in this series. It was fun to catch up with them. I smiled throughout this story :)
Thanks for reading it Mamma, so I could use it!!

Review: This was ok. I liked Morgan, he was patient, considerate, and an easy character to like. Judah wasn't so easy. Sometimes his smart mouth was a bit more than I could take, but after reading more about Meniere's disease and then learning about his history of being bullied at school, his attitude was easier to understand. I thought they were good together, but I wasn't really hooked by the story.
