Review: I totally enjoyed this. I haven't read anything by Samantha Young before, but I have loved all of Kristen Callihan's books so far. I wasn't sure what to expect with this collaboration, but it was really good. Rhys is a former heavyweight champion boxer and Parker is an environmentalist who works for some fancy firm. I never really did understand what exactly she does, it wasn't really explained at all, but it was portrayed as a very smart and important job, so I was impressed. I never would have thought that these two would work, they have zero in common, but somehow the chemistry between them really sparked and I completely bought into their love story. Some of the secondary characters were over the top, like Parker's asshole big boss, but he made a good bad guy and the scene where he got bit by the snake was epic! Overall, a really fun read.

If you are passing for week 3, and posting a book for week 2, I need the Week 2 selection post within the next 24 hours.
(All books need to be selected in the week that is currently underway, even if they are then read in a subsequent week.)

Review:
An entertaining read, with plenty of humor and an amazing group of characters. While i adored the relationship development and banter between Colton and Ace, this book definitely provides an introduction to everyone and sets up for the rest of the series perfectly.
Theres some great action scenes towards the start and the end, involving car chases and fights which were a lot of fun. I didn't have a clue as to the culprit and so the twists here were great, it was an amazing reveal and so enjoyable.
There are a lot of fun and sweet/hot moments throughout, such as the scenes by the pool and on the beach. These two have incredible chemistry from start to finish and i enjoyed their development so much.
Many great characters throughout so be difficult to mention them all, but of course i adored the Kings of Ace, Lucky, Red and King. They're all so different and have an amazing bond, i loved learning a little about them throughout along with their future partners. Also would love to see more of Frank and Joshua as they're adorable.
Overall a great read with a lovely happy ending, i look forward to reading more of the series soon xx

Review- I wasn't sure what I was going to think of Luc and Oliver at the beginning of this one. I quickly came to adore both of them. The family drama (sorry, no spoilers from me), the inner angst and damaged psyche of each of them....I was invested. I even came to like Luc's friends and sidekicks by the end of the story. I loved Luc and Oliver separately and even more together. I rarely reread a book but this one I just might. Just to revisit the guys again.

Review: This was ok. I'm not a huge fan of Daddy/boy scenes, but at least these guys didn't do it full-time. It was a little weird since the Daddy was actually the father of the groom, and Avery was best friend's with the bride, but not so much I couldn't finish the story. I did appreciate that the author didn't have the characters declare their undying devotion to each other at the end, rather they decided to explore their feelings and see where the relationship could go. I thought that was perfect since they only spent the one weekend together. The story was pretty shallow, but since it was only a little over 100 pages, I felt like I got what I paid for.

"Paris, heir to a vampire kingdom ... will risk everything just to touch Helen again."
Review: this was a type of retelling of the couple Helen of Troy and Paris but this version was a What if aftereffect. So, in this version after Helen and Paris died, Paris was turned a vampire and Helen was Reborn as a maiden of Artemis. Paris retained his memory, Helen did not & Menelaus was a demon king. The story was all about Menelaus and Paris fighting over Helen again and the couple getting their vengeance. There were nods to Harry Potter with the dark wood and spiders along with spells witches and Dragons. I'm normally love Celia Aaron, but in this instance it was more of Meh. My opinion is she needs to stick to with what she knows which is dark romance.

Review:
I fell in love with this story from the start it just grabbed me and took me on this beautiful journey. The characters are wonderful and i adore the alternating povs between them, i couldn't pick a favorite there both amazing.
I enjoyed Ryan and John so much, the slow burn and progression of their relationship was addictive. As they got to know each other and developed feelings over time, it just felt very natural growth between them. Neither had been attracted to a man before and so they took their time figuring out what they want.
Didn't jump right into it as gave themselves that time to really think about and then when they do come together, their chemistey is hot as hell... Steamy and intimate. Just all the little moments of affection and their banter is a lot of fun.
Oh and the plot was fascinating, the revelations and how that played out was incredible. With all the pieces coming together, the action scene towards the end was amazing.
Also must mention the side cast who were great with lots of development too, i especially loved Mark and the music scenes. He was a lot of fun, very realistic for teen too with all their fears.
Overall a wonderful story with lovely writing and a sweet ending looking towards their future. I look forward to reading more about Ryan and John soon xx

Review- This was a bit of an opposites-attract story- and I love those! Mal is a supermodel with a sassy attitude and Cadan is an overworked grumpy farmer. I loved them together. We had some side characters that explained the reasons for both of their personalities and circumstances and gave us a good picture of each of their baggage. It was a sweet story of how each of them needed the other.

Review ~ Well... it was just Meh. Oh man, I'm not having much luck with my PTP books here lately. I usually love my MB books, but this one was just okay.

Why oh, why, oh why indeed! Why, didn't the author give us more flashbacks from Nathan of his time and the hunter camp? It's like this whole book was just to show that Jordana was (view spoiler) along with introducing us to the character Zael. That was the only good parts IMHO along with the sex. Nathan's passion, when he unleashed it, was spot on. Otherwise...

What a wasted opportunity for Nathan. He was such an enigma. This was the author's Prime opportunity to really cement his character in our hearts and minds. I was really looking forward to his character.

You better not F*ck up Lazaro Archer too. He's been my Fave for awhile. I picture this big Ole Bear of a Man! Don't screw up his book too!

Review: I'm not sure how many times I've read this one, but for some reason, this time around just didn't do it for me. I was just not as charmed by Web's perfection as I usually am. He's an older, broke, retired bull rider, with pretty low self esteem IMO. For some reason, the brilliant neurosurgeon Cy is helplessly in love with Web and desires nothing more than for Web to stay with him forever. Usually I get a kick out of the push/pull attraction between these guys, but I just wasn't feeling it this time around. I put it down to the "2020 blahs".

Oh girl it's okay. Thank you. I hope it didn't hurt your feelings that I didn't like it when you did. It was one of those that I just had high hopes for Nathan. I think if she would have gave him flashbacks of when he was in Drago's liar and showing him flashing back to running into the order or something. I just think it was a waste for his character. I love the series though. I've got a few of yours starred for my option #2. We have a lot of the same books and Series in common.
