Awesome! I am glad you like it. I had a thought- do you think the leaders of North Korea read this book to see how their citizens are escaping?

Good thought!! I think they must have what fo you think?? Its so sad to think of them as children starving and having to eat plants and bugs to survive, its heartbreaking!!

Just finished it, words cant even describe the horrors they went through, i was in tears at points reading about it! I think every teenager should read this to realise just how lucky they are!
You finished it fast! Lol It is a great story-she is an excellent storyteller. I am about 60 percent through, and I will plan to finish it tonight. It is extremely heartbreaking- especially when she had surgery for her appendix and woke up in the middle of the operation! Horrific! I can’t image the pain that she experienced. I agree with you- I was near tears when her mother was raped when they crossed into China. I can’t believe such evil people exist.
Lol once i startsd it i just couldnt put it down!!! I know what you mean its horrible to think that such evil things are still happening!! Its just heartbreaking!!
