FULL DESCRIPTION OF BOOK ABOVE BC TOPIC LINE DIDN'T ALLOW: Romance book where the girl meets the guy, who is in the army, in the bar, and the next day, she turns out to be in his class (she is a cadet). The book is sent in 29 Palms, San Diego. The man's name, I think, is Joseph (Joe) and he's Mexican and the girl's name is Casey. They both start a relationship in secret and one day Casey is almost sexually assaulted by a fellow male cadet who is jealous of her, Joe comes to her rescue and fights the male cadet and injures him badly. Joe then is charged and has to face trial in army court but he is freed due to lack of evidence. Also, in this book Joe's mother gets a heart attack and dies, and on her deathbed, Joe tells her that he and Casey are expecting a baby. I read the book around 2015-2018.
