Hey, Bella! I am in a very similar situation. Years ago I would read nonstop for hours on end. Bringing my book to breakfast, reading it at the pool, and after that I kind of burnt out. To everyone who asked, I told them “I hate reading” and I believed it to be true. Everyone who said “you just haven’t found the right book yet” infuriated me. But they were right... One day I discovered The Ward by Jordana Frankel, and her sequel The Isle. I loved everything about them... the characters, the word building, the way everything came together so beautifully— They were so good that for a little while I wouldn’t read anything else in fear that others books wouldn’t be as good and I would hate reading again. Then a friend introduced me to the Serafina series by Robert Beatty. That’s when I realized that there are oodles of great books out there and now I am loving reading!
