Christi Rensing (wrezn8r) | 4 comments I like to keep stickie notes handy to mark my pages "tab style". I make a note on the "tab".

Areesha (areeshab) | 15 comments I don't really make notes, but I just like to keep a list of quotes from books I'm reading in my iPhone. I can't bear to write or mess with my books.

I don't do it. I'm just not moved to, I guess.

Vanessa (bookchasm) | 4 comments Coincidentally, I'd posted a picture about this to my Instagram account last weekend. I have a hard time writing in some books, and for me the solution to this problem has been invisible ink. I also like using fountain pens, and that's how I came across this idea. The Noodler's fountain pen ink company makes an ink called Blue Ghost, which is visible only under a UV black light. So I picked up large bottle of it, which also came with an inexpensive pen for use with it, and a tiny UV light from gouletpens.com Using a small light makes it easy to flip through the book and find my notes or underlining without hurting my eyes, but sometimes I will also make a little index of pages in one of the covers that lists all the pages with notes, or I'll circle the page numbers within the book. It's also been handy for private comments that I just want to keep to myself.

It takes a little investment of about $20 to purchase the supplies and it's not for everyone, but I just wanted to share what works for me. :)
