i personally really love his character

He is literally my dream man!!!!

I honestly at first wasn't into the whole "dont touch me " thing but I really started to love him more and more as he developed in the books. At the times I could see he was trying to let her in my heart was melting lol. He's not an awful book boyfriend, not my number one, but def prolly in my top ten. Oh and the level of hotness is just an added bonus ig lol. Anyways, have a groovy day! :)

I do really like his character, and honestly don't get the hate at all.

I'm nowhere near interested in this lifestyle. And I wouldn't call him perfect, but honestly I do think he comes close, honestly I think he has more positives than Negetives.

People over-analyse and over focus on his stalking tendencies, which yes not good at all, but he's so much more than that. And Ana didn't mind, in fact she was always waiting for him anyway.

And Christian knew what he was doing was odd, and questioned himself, I don't condone the stalking at all,

but if any told him to fuck off, she's not interested and if Ana showed clear signs of not being into him, he would fuck off. And I think people forget about that

I love the fact that Ana accepted him for who he was. She was open minded in some sense to give his lifestyle choice a go. I am also not a fan of his lifestyle idea, but not all of us are into the same things. I respect the hell out of his character for being an honest man with Ana. She seemed to need the over protectant, constantly there boyfriend style. That's how he was and that worked out.
I think that he showed great growth throughout the series as a character. He went from not being honest and doing what he wanted to please himself, to being a considerate man. He wasn't a flower and love type of man, but he became that for her. He did what he did out of love, and I absolutely respect the hell out of a man trying to show growth and change for the better.
