SOLVED. Romance-two Sisters-artifacts-running from family member to do harm to sisters (?) Hero is hurt in the attack.

what I know of this Romance book I once read -

Man steps into an art shop run by two women (sisters) and starts smashing the items and yelling at the women to get out of the store – someone is on their way to the shop to do harm to the two women (do not recall if the sisters are hiding from a family member) – I vaguely recall this man was hired to either find the sisters or report back on their whereabouts –

• While the man is smashing items in the shop and yelling at the ladies to leave –
• the older sister is yelling back at this man to stop smashing these artifacts – she quickly saves an item and her and her sister start for the stairs
• Another man enters the shop determined to do harm to the sisters –
• Hero starts fighting with the assailant in order to give the sisters time to escape the shop –
• Sisters run up the stairs to 2nd floor with assailant attempting to follow them
• While the hero is fighting this assailant on the stairs – his attacker smashes the Hero leg (at the top of the stairs) Hero notices that the sisters do get out of the shop – Hero is pissed that the older woman is not appreciative of his efforts to save their lives and that he got hurt in this attack -

Two sisters end up in London and living in a good home of their own w/ a housekeeper –
• The older sister maybe running an artifact shop in London now
• Hero who was badly injured saving the two sisters lives finds the heroine
• Heroine does not recognize him from that attempted attack on her life
• Hero walks with a limp from that attack – I believe he at first wanted the heroine to pay some how for him being badly banged up in that attack -
• But, H/h end up in a romantic tryst where the first time was outside in a secluded area of a park –
• Hero shows up each morning at her home to breakfast with the sisters eating her food and enjoying the housekeepers special jam …
• Housekeeper knows that the H/h are romantic with one another and the housekeeper lets him know that she will need to gather more berries to make his special jam – hint that no one will be home

I found the book that I was thinking of and it is a 3 book series of Levina Lake & Tobias March by Amanda Quick ... fun bantering between the H/h: Slightly Shady (1); Don't Look Back (2); Late for the Wedding (3)
