Yes - PM sent 8 Oct.
All posts for week 4 & 5 needed to be selected by 9 Oct. That didn't happen. And I requested Susan to be no more than 2 books behind by the end of that week, which would have been 11 Oct.

Hi Susan - sorry but you have fallen behind by too much to continue. I have to remove you from the game :(
I sent you a PM on 8 Oct outlined what you needed to do to remain in the game. I didn't hear from you and figured that you had too much on in RL which was in line with what you had posted in the Meet & Greet Challenge.
Take your time to relax and catch up with things - the next team challenge will no doubt be posted soon! 🌼

Review: This book for starter had way too many differet ways a wolf can be a supernatural wolf. The book tried to explain all of them but I got lost in the telling. I wish the author only focus on one or two types rather then the whole box. I felt the story well writen and I could not seen need of approvement. I just wish the book was broken down to three book series of wolves.

More of a 3.5 stars but this author is capable of so much better IMO. The story did have a tough theme but no matter how hard either of them had it, I didn't feel anything. It felt like a lightweight version of addiction. Basically a love story of bff's who depend on and love each other, one an alcoholic and the other his enabler and how they deal with that to eventually be together. Kind of boring if I being honest. Not bad but not great either.

review:
The book turned out better than I initially thought it would. The world could use some more details. Even if this was the second book in the series you could read it as standalone and not miss out on things. I will read the first book soon and see if I missed some of the details for the world due to starting with the second book. Definitely a series I´ll keep reading.

Review: A kindly solicitor becomes trustee for Jean Paget, a young English woman who has just inherited a legacy from a distant uncle. She wants to use her money to help a village in Malaya. Jean tells him how she was take prisoner by the Japanese in Malaya during WWII. She and a group of women and children were forced to march hundreds of miles in harsh conditions, and eventually they settled into a village to work until the end of the war. After she inherits, she returns to Malaya, and then travels to Australia to find a man she had met during the war. Jean is such a strong character with immense courage and resilience. The author based her situation on a true story. The book reminded me of The Narrow Road to the Deep North as it focused on the male prisoners of the Japanese who were forced to build a railroad in the same part of the world; it also reminded me of Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption since the main character retains her optimism despite horrific circumstances. I learned a lot about Australia and it made me want to visit. It's on my bucket list!

Review: I didn't like this one as much as I did book one. I loved Eric, didn't care for Brady. Brady developmental coordination disorder as well as dsylexia and that has been hard on him. Eric is a firefigher & takes a shine to Brady when he meets him at Ash & Sean's wedding. On top of everything Brady is going through, he also lost his sister & brother-in-law in an accident and has custody of his niece & nephew, he eventually adopts them so they are all his.

Review Desiree and Stella are identical twins who grow up in Mallard, LA, a town known for it's light-skinned black people. At 16, the twins run away to New Orleans. Eventually, Stella decides to pass for white and marries a wealthy man. They have a beautiful home in Brentwood, CA and a daughter. Stella's new family knows nothing about her past. Meanwhile, Desiree and her daughter, Jude, move back to Mallard. When Jude leaves home for college, her life takes unexpected turns. This book opens the door for interesting discussions on race, class and gender. The beginning is a bit slow, but picks up the pace after about 25%. I would recommend this book, and I want to read the author's previous novel.

I really didn't like the first book from the series all that much but enjoyed this one a whole lot more. I feel like we got to know Logan a whole lot better and the crap they had to go through with Tate's awful family was....well awful. Much stronger relationship feels with the hot smexing thrown in for so much fun.

Review:
Finally finished this book. In the end it was n´t so bad and I could read it in one go but the first 50 % were sheer agony for me. If not for the challenge I would have dfn-ed it. So the book redeemed itself a bit over the last 50% but 50% of over 500 pages is a very long way to go in a book to get to a place you might like the book at least a little bit. The retelling of Hades and Persephone´s story isn´t so bad but could do with a lot of shortening. I rate this book 2 stars because of the second half. The first half would have gotten one star or less.

Review:
A nice read for a rainy afternoon with a cup of hot tea and maybe a little fire in the pit. The writing stile is very descriptive so I could really picture the bookshop in my minds eye and longed to go there to sit down with a nice book and a hot cocoa. I would also like to meet one of the MC´s. But sadly part of the story felt constructed like the author thought they had to add some suspence to the story to make it more substancial. That feeling lessened my positive reaction to the book. So I´ll give it 3 stars.

Review: As I was reading this, I thought it was my first Lynsay Sands book; then I looked back at my Read shelf and saw I read one of her books way back in 2011. (Gotta love Goodreads!) I am a HUGE Outlander fan so I thought a book about highlanders would be my cup of tea. I thought this was an entertaining book overall, but the first 100 pages were painfully slow and the heroine really just acted completely opposite of what I would expect. I did enjoy the humor in the book, which seems to contrast with how dangerous this time period was for women.

Enjoyed this book way more than I was expecting. For some weird reason, I love books about hockey even though I know nothing about it and this was no exception. Zach was the cutest, most clueless MC I've read about in a while. He was so stinking analytical that it just came across so funny. Foster is your typical star athlete with a heart of gold but a reputation of man-whore. He also happens to be Zach's twin's bestie. These two had chemistry from the start so it was a fun ride. Loved!

Review: I enjoyed the book and it had a lot of back story with Sam trying to remember his past after an explosion took not only his team and lover away from him, but also his memories. What I had a hard time believing is that Orlando was never with anyone in the 6 years that Sam was gone. I also didn't understand why Sam fell in love with Danny when he was in love with Orlando when he left for the service. I guess that is a little love triangle with one of them being a ghost. Also, I would have liked them to have come together sooner in the book. Since Sam is recovering from his injuries at his Grams house, he comes to find out that he can see ghosts and one little girl Cindy has attached herself to him. What we then have is the investigation into the death of the little girl, and turns out several little girls. I didn't have any of it figured out until & was pretty surprised when all was revealed. I love Orlando's nephew, who is autistic, and can see Cindy. For the first time, Zayden is starting to communicate & Cindy plays a part in this. Also, Sam falls hopelessly for this little boy & Zay really opens up to him. I need to read the next book in the series as I want to watch Sam fall in love all over again with Orlando as well as seeing him solving additional cases.
