Hi LM - the book must be read after I call the theme. So you can read it in the week that I call the theme or in the weeks AFTER that so long as you don't fall behind by more than 2 books.

Any book read or started prior to me calling a theme cannot be used.

Birds count as an animal.

Hi Hazel - I'm going to say no. It isn't officially a Caribbean country even though it has that coastline on the Caribbean Sea.

I'll accept book titles and series titles so long as the book appears to be set there even if it isn't mentioned in the precis etc.

The author is a New Zealand author, lives there. It also has a tag for NZ Location.
