I'm pretty sure the characters were in there 20s, because I remember the setting being largely a dorm (makes me think college). I read it 2015-2018. The main character was a young woman, and the story was told through newspapers, descriptions of videos, and possibly diary entries. I know it was paranormal and ghosts were involved, and people disappeared at some point in the book. The cover had burnt newspaper on it, I believe.

Bumping this because it's been so long. Anyone have any ideas? I think at the end of the book there was a supernatural fire and the main character disappeared in it.
Found it through some googling.
