I read the first two books a while ago, so this weeks topic is perfect to finish the series. I dont really like Tolkiens writing style and I think it will be a little bit boring, because I already know what happens. Anyway, I hope it will be more fun to read, than the first two! :)

I have not read these in years. My teenage son has recently read them and wishes to discuss the plot twists, which I barely remember. I will be re-reading the series for the trilogy part of the challenge.

but even I remember the movie but I still love Tolkien writing ♡

LotR are one of my favourite books, and even if I know the story, I always like to rediscover the numerous additional informations you get in the books compared to the movies. The first time I read them I expected the writing style to make them difficult to read books, but I actually found them easier than I thought they would be.
