Let's chat about part two.
Are you liking the short chapter format?
How easy are you finding it to read?

*SPOILERS BELOW*

Maegan Mahoney (maegan1116) | 8 comments I do like the short chapter format. It sets a good pacing to the book. It's such a smooth, enjoyable read. Man that ending to this part knocked the ground out from under me though. I wasn't expecting it, I really don't know what to expect from the rest of the book either but I find that I don't really mind. I'll let it take me wherever it wants to go.

Marya May | 5 comments I like the short chapter format, because it is very comofortable when you're reading in the bus or at school breaks. And the style of writing is very good. It is easy to read the book.

Sara Mortensen (saramrts) | 4 comments I love books with short chapters like this...I find that I read faster (or at least feel like I'm reading faster). Love love love the writing style in this book too!

message 5: by Ro (new) - rated it 4 stars

Ro | 9 comments I loved the short chapter format because I was working while reading the book, and the tiny chapters were my reward for having done x-amounts of work.

Kassie (sassyykassie) | 36 comments The short chapters make it so easy to keep going! The pages just fly by!

And holy moly the ending to this section, I'm so taken aback. Gotta get back to reading!

Rachael Hobson (bostonbookbitty) While I was reading this, I would jot down my feelings as soon as I finished each section of the book. Kinda like how Ari would jot down his feelings. This is what I had to say for this section of the book.

"No wonder Ari feels awkward and disjointed. I wouldn't now how to fit in with my family, if they all suddenly acted my brother didn't exist. If I wouldn't fit in or understand my family, how would I expect myself to fit in or understand the world. I feel for Ari. I feel for Dante. Feeling like a stranger within your own family is the worst feeling in the world. Side note- Holy cliff hanger, Batman! I hope Dante is ok!"

Elize Russell (bookscookslooks) There's a lot going on. The short chapters add to the atmosphere and I'm finding it very easy to read.

Ditta Reads (ditareads) | 14 comments The short chapter format is working for me. I enjoy it. :) The writing is so good. I don't know where it is going exactly but I figured out that I don't care, going further is all I need.

I like getting to know more about Ari and Dante. Ari's family and all, it helps me understand him more. Why he feels like a stranger a lot and why he feels lonely so often.

And omg the end of this part. I need to continue reading.
