I was glad we got to the wedding, just in time, before the book ran out of pages. I would have liked a few more pages of preparation or of Mercy and Truman, Ollie and Kaylie coming to terms with what happened.
Beautiful wedding and so glad her father finally came to his senses. Too bad it takes a fatal sickness to bring them together. Love Ollie and Kaylie. What a great gift.
I liked that we got the wedding in this book. I really didn't think it would go that far in the future.Loved the gift from Ollie and Kaylie. What a great idea.
I’m sorry this was so rushed. I would have loved to experience more but I’m also happy they got married. Such a thoughtful gift from Ollie and Kaylie.
Karl? Nice first step. I need more about his future behavior to give him a permanent pass.

I loved the gift. That was one of those special gifts that touch the heart. I'm with you. They needed a few more pages devoted to the wedding. When Kaylie told Mercy that Levi was there I admit I got a little teary.
Also missing:
Kaylie and Ollie were so upset when Truman told them that Mercy was missing. Elliot missed an opportunity to have them talk through their feelings when Mercy came home.
I wanted to see Karl talk to Mercy even if it was only a couple paragraphs. I felt a little cheated at the end.

I struggled trying to define what was missing for me. You stated it perfectly, Sharon.
