Hannah was smart about keeping a weapon handy, especially when AnnaBelle would start barking at something. I think she had a sense that she was being watched. I didn't like when Hannah went into the woods chasing the dog. Not smart. But at least she talked to Brody and told him what was going on.
That house was better protected than Fort Knox. There was no way anyone was getting in, so I don't think Hannah could have done anything differently. As to her walking in the woods alone, this was not a smart thing for a lone woman to do. However, given Hannah's obvious training and skills, she could look after herself. She's no damsel in distress.
Hannah has good self-defense training. Like the others, she suspected someone watching her. I hated when Mick saw her gun though it did add to the suspense.I agree it was a bad move to run into the woods after the dog. Although I understand that she didn't want Carson to suffer another loss.
It was a wrong move to go into the woods. But I could understand why she did it. Poor Carson didn't need any more loss to go through. She knew she could take care of herself in most situations but I think she was still a bit leary of Mick.
Hannah was definitely prepared! Not much more she could have done other than limit those walks in the dark. I cringed every time.
