YA novel. The novel starts off with a scene where the main character almost drowns and is wheeled into a hospital. When she “wakes” she realises that “her soul” has left her body (since she’s still in a coma and hasn’t really regained consciousness). She then meets with a boy, goes on a journey with him.

Throughout the novel, it was hinted that the boy was linked to a black cat she kept on seeing. The boy was later revealed to be her unborn brother who wanted to meet his sister before she left.

I read this book in 2016, I don’t remember the author or the exact details or the year it was published. I’m really sorry if this comment was vague but I’d really appreciate it if someone were to tell the the title of this book. Thank you!!!(￣▽￣)～
