it's silly that there are 52 weeks in a year and I have trouble reading that many books in a year!

I just finished reading Black Girl/White Girl by Joyce Carol Oates. it's the first time I've ever read anything by her and I enjoyed every moment. year is if to a good start. trying to find the group read through my library.
Good Bones and Simple Murders by Margaret Atwood. not the kind of thing you can read without giving your complete attention. super short stories, sometimes only 2 pages and yet still so engrossing.
Good luck with your challenge, Mariel! I put Good Bones and Simple Murders on my TBR list. I've been looking for some more short story collections to read, and that one sounds great.
